    $160 for all of this!
Well and 6 and a half hours of driving and $50 in gas plus getting pulled over for my inspection sticker and being searched for drugs lol. And the thing about the drug search is I have not smoked pot in 15 years. Well worth it though

Nice find, congrats. SMS2 consoles are king's ransom in NA aren't they? It's too bad they only output RF out of the box. That shouldn't be too hard to fix though. Did it come with any controllers?

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

I've heard they're uncommon, was surprised to see one locally. No it didn't come with any controllers, but I already have two.

The store didn't have any SMS games from what I saw.

I see SMS games locally second-to-least often out of all Sega console games. (the most uncommon are 32X games)

How many units did the SMS sell in the US?

A store not too far from me always has Sega CD, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast games, but they usually only have at the most 5 SMS games on the shelf, and they sit there for quite some time. They almost always have plenty of games for all other sega systems.

It seems like Sega consoles all sold fairly well here (Louisville, Kentucky) EXCEPT for the Master system. In fact, I've only seen one Master System console locally in person. Even if you look on craigslist you NEVER see anything master system related. Hell, on craigslist i've seen more neo geo related stuff for sale than I have Master System.

I wish I could post pictures, but imagine this:

3 complete Intellivision games for $1.99 each. One of the still has the controller overlays.

Whenever I go to a used game store here in albany (and there are a few) there's always a lot of Sega stuff. The one near my dorm is a hole in the wall and they have 5 shelves of Genesis/32X games, two of SMS, three of Dreamcast and Saturn, and like two of SCD, along with GG behind the glass. They even have at least one of every Sega console. That's where I got my Saturn. I see less common games a lot too, like MUSHA, the Lunars, several Popful Mails, Magic Knight Rayearth, Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon Saga. The one in the Colonie Center mall is a big open space that has each section of the wall dedicated to a specific system and the first is a large selection of SMS games. Albany is a pretty good place to go game hunting.

I was going to say...Master System stuff is quite common around here. Even my local Play N Trade as MS, 32X, and SCD stuff.

And how much do they ask for Panzer Dragoon Saga, MKR, and shining force III? IF the price is the same or higher than what you'd find on ebay typically, it kinda loses some of it's magic lol

The store near me is strange, sometimes they overprice games wildly, sometimes i get good deals. One time they had the japanese version of Street Fighter collection for the saturn for $100. It actually sold, surprisingly.

I have been to a few game stores in Albany. Indeed they are much better than anything remaining here in Syracuse. That laseractive I have pictured was bought yesterday from Troy.

Welcome to the LaserActive club! That's a really good deal since you got Hyperion as well! Does everything still work for you?

A word of advice, if you've got a security bit eject the PAC and open it up to take a look and see if the capacitors are leaking. You can sell if the green around them on the board is discolored. If it's leaking try and get someone to redo the capacitors as soon as you can, wait to long and it can be dead for good! BlueBMW and others on PCEFX know a lot about the system an how to keep it in tip-top shape too

Didn't find too much this weekend personally, located a cool arcade guy who let me grab a couple switching power supplies and wiring off him for $20. I did notice when I was out at Office Max though that they have the Dreamcast Collection for 360 priced at $9.99 so I picked up a copy just for the sake of nostalgia.
