    Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player
Gun Nac (cart only) - Famicom

Gonna give the movies a rest on the PS3 and use it mainly for gaming. Also the bitstreamed TrueHD and DTS-HD MA soundtracks sound way better (especially the center channel) since my AV receiver (Onkyo TX-SR805) is handling the sound now.

Ummm, why don't you just have the PS3 output 7.1 PCM from Tr00HD and DTSHDMA? It's the best Bl00-ray player there s.

That's what I was doing before but the Multichannel PCM sound (which is what the PS3 outputted the TrueHD and DTSHDMA as through HDMI) didn't have the same kind of impact. Don't get me wrong, it sounded great but the low volume on center channel drove me nuts. Since my receiver decodes TrueHD and DTSHDMA, everything sounds more normalized (especially the center channel sound).

Sounds like someone needs to set their levels! Go to Radio Shack and get their db meter, if they still sell it.

I've done all of those things with the Radio Shack sound meter back when I first got the receiver a year ago. You just have to hear them both in person to understand what I'm trying to say. It's not a night and day difference but it's noticeable.

Every once and a while I'll go to goodwill and look for any games that may be there. Well most of the time I come up empty handed, but last week was my best find yet. In there bid item case I saw what I was very surprised to see in a goodwill store. A complete snes system in box with the original mario games.
So I bid on it figuring my luck sucks and wouldnt win, a guy out bid me twice before I outbid him for the last time. I figured well he's prob gonna outbid me so no biggy. Well sure enough the store had called me last saturday saying that I had one the item. I got everything you see for $52.00 I thought I got a good deal since it was in good condition. Some of it looked as if it had never been touched.

Outstanding find adamx! I love thrift shopping event though only 1 out of every 20 times yields something interesting. It's still fun just hunting. I've never seen a thrift store with a auction style system. That would suck. I once picked up a complete SNES for $12 from a local thrift shop. I'll bet you would have been able to do the same if they didn't do that crazy auction thing.

My parcel arrived today!! *dances* And within it were....

    Megadrive 2
    Mega CD 2
    Two controllers
A 4-in-1 MD game collection (has Gunstar Heroes, Flicky, Altered Beast, and Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle)
    Menacer 6-Game Cartridge (ಠ_ಠ ?)
    Sol Feace
    Cobra Command
Usual wires and bits to make the consoles work. The MD's missing the power adaptor, but I got all this quite cheaply and it arrived within three days... £51, which is almost €64.

Just yesterday I got Shadow of the Colossus and Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut for €13.
