I've been meaning to find that one for a while now, it uses the stunner doesn't it?

You can either use a standard controller, or both the stunner and controller.

Personally I prefer playing it as a traditional platformer with the pad, the rail shooting sections are easy enough with the pad.

    Olds Ambassador 1967 Trumpet

Bought this off of eBay just moments ago. I've been looking for a new, good, cheap trumpet for quite some time now, but all the good ones seemed to cost upwards of $2,000. So, I decided to be a cheap-skate and buy an old trumpet. It's still a good trumpet, though. The company F.E. Olds has been known to make very high quality, durable horns and some of their student horns could easily rival and come close to being better than some professional horns. Plus, it has good resale value so if I don't like it, I could probably sell it for more than I (my parents) paid for it.
Nice. I always liked Getzen trumpets personally, with their weird spit-valves.

Yeah, Getzens are supposed to be pretty good. I tried one at a local music store (not the local music store, mind you. This was a smaller one) and thought it was good, and the spitvalves are cool too. Though, I'd think the button-type thing they're doing has your finger or thumb or whatever to close to the spit that's coming out. I prefer the lever-type spitvalve.

Anywho, I got myself something I've been looking for for a long time: Contra: Shattered Soldier

I haven't played it yet, but I have a feeling I'm going to like it.

Well, I guess I won't be able to play it. Damn PS3 is not backwards compatible with it, so I guess I'll have to get a PS2. I've already spent all my money on other video games and Vonnegut novels and I can't have my parents pay for it because they've already dropped $250 on me for a trumpet, so I've got no funds to pay for one. I suppose a used one would cost me some $40, but I don't even have that. Now I have to do work. Stupid reality...

    Mregh...grumble...

Or you could always wait to play it. Surely there's some other game that could occupy your time?

Oh, sure, definitely. Pier Solar is coming rather soon and I've still got Sonic Colors and Castelvania: SotN to beat, not to mention that nice trumpet that I'll probably spend many hours playing and getting used to.

I'm just a bit upset because I've been wanting to play it for a good long while and never got it, now it's in front of me and I can't play it. Rather frustrating, but barely a problem at all. It better be pretty damn good, though!
