Not a great deal last month, but I did get a bigbox copy of possibly the greatest PC game ever, MechWarrior2 Complete.

Already had a copy but a complete big box was just too good to miss

    New (though sun-faded) Horned Owl

The look of this game reminds me so much of Namco's Steel Gunner
Pier Solar and the Great Architects (reprint)

    Chuck Taylors

During a field trip-ish thing today which was a day where small groups of four to five eight graders go to local businesses, I saw this in my uncle's audio store which I chose as one of the five businesses my group and I went to.

It was just lying on a shelf in a storage area. So, I decided to ask my uncle for it. He, as you might have guessed, gave it to me.

^^ Note: Not a real thumbstick. It's just a piece of plastic.

^^ From what the interwebs say, that's a port for Japanese NES games.

It's actually a pretty good clone. If the controller didn't suck it would be a very good clone worthy of any mantle. Perhaps the techies among us could put the stuff from the main N64-ish controller into a good controller. That would be awesome.

Here's some gameplay of some of the sillier games. The video is just a test video to see if my video capturing equipment would work. My brother and I plan to do an Ashen's style video review of the thing.

Besides all that, I went to a local Toyota/Scion dealer and they had this used car in their lot:

Hopefully, I'll get one in a couple years. The one they had was in very nice condition and was the owner's son's car.

^^^^^^Here's some gameplay of some of the sillier games^^^^^^^

The games from my youth on my Famicom, but with different sprites, what I really was hoping you would choose was a Contra or Elevator game to see what they did with them.

    40$

The pictures fuzzy, color flickers, and I can't here the sound. Anyone know how to fix this at all?

I'm happy that I found this though!

Actually, Contra and Elevator on there a pretty much the same game as their NES counterparts. Nothing was changed except for a bit lower video quality and an added level select on Contra.

First, make sure you're using the thickest RF cable you can find (best to go with thick RCA cable + RCA to coax adapter).

I was just using my NES RF switch, but I read that that's not something that works very well.

I went downstairs in the garage and found really thick RF cable, and hopefully I'll be able to find one of them RCA to Coax adapter that you're talking about.

Bonanza Bros. for $5 complete. whati mpressed me most was that everything about the package seemd to be nearly untouched, from the cart to the manual the four inserts. Nearly pristine condition.
