Although I do agree to a point Bossman some peoples pickup vids are just boring and I think why bother, Quickscifi's however are always good
    Thanks brotherman. I try.

Did you mean £1? I'm pretty sure this is a £2 game and not rare at all, or is there something different in this version? :/

I didn't know it was fairly common at the time, I was in the shop wanted it so I bought it. So rare to find a shop that sells retro stuff I guess I had blinkers on. Still I'm happy with all of my purchases from there.

I'll post some pictures once it arrives, but I just bought a US Turbografx-16 on Ebay for $50 shipped. Comes with all the cables, one controller, the accessory port cover, and Power Golf. I also bought Ninja Spirit and Bonk's Revenge in separate auctions. This console has been sort of a holy grail for me for awhile, so I'm glad one finally came along for the right price.

Since this system can only play US Hu-Cards, and unfortunately a lot of the best games were either only released in Japan or are on CD, my next goal is to get a Japanese Duo-R system. That will allow me to play Japanese Hu-Cards, and CD games from any region, so I'll be able to play the entire PC-Engine library (discounting the Supergrafx). Until then however, I really need to focus on enjoying all the systems I've bought lately. Honestly I almost enjoy collecting the hardware more than playing the actual games. Let's just hope I never convince myself that I need a Neo Geo AES
    My Systems
Nintendo: NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, GBC, GBA, GBA-SP, GBP, DS Lite
    Sony: PS1, PS2
    Microsoft: Xbox 360
Sega: Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, 32x, Dreamcast, GameGear
Other: Atari Super Pong, Atari 2600, Odyssey 2, Turbografx-16

Genesis Knight: That is one sweet-ass haul right there.

Also, I've always loved RayStorm. Barely played Layer Section/RayForce; never played RayCrisis.

Genesis Knight and I am going to go toe to toe here but in the end I think I still win! I posted this at Digital Press but will share it here too. Enjoy the pwnage from me here!!!

This is 100% for real and perhaps my find of the year!!
I decided to stop at Goodwill for a casual stroll on my lunch break for work yesterday night. I arrived about 10 minutes before they closed for the night and did the casual looking, used the bath room and then went to the CD and game section and didn't believe my eyes from the distance I first say this. The shelves were almost bare except for a massive pile of PS1 games on one side. I started looking and couldn't grab these games fast enough I grabbed everything in the pics. All were priced at 1.99 to $2.99 I grabbed 25 games in total. I was trying not to look like the ultra dork carrying all of these games to the register so I carried them all and put them in a cart and went to wait in line to check out. The cashier rang them all up and it came to $64 and some change. I used my membership to get 5% off then used a 25% off coupon I had for a total of 30% off and got all of these games for the grand total of $46.01 The first Lunar ended up having a missing disc but is still worth the purchase. I got Parasite Eve II for $1.40 though along with several others. This was really hard for me to take in and process and I almost thought I was going to hyperventilate once I got to my van. There is easily $300 to $400 worth of games here!

To top that off I won a free used Wii at the beginning of the month and got the Arcadia Supercharger from another Goodwill earlier this month for $3.99

I didn't think stuff like this could happen anymore!!!

Bah, no Sega stuff. Just kidding - very nice haul, but very very lucky. If only all of us could have such fortune.

I picked this sucker up for $24 shipped off Amazon. Thought it was a good deal vs. the going rate and I have a soft spot for it.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.

    My Newest Arrivals!

    20110725 by xelement5x, on Flickr

The X'eye was a gamble since there were no hookup and it was untested, but it works like a charm for both Genesis and Sega CD games, and it was only $40! Love that startup screen music!!

Also, the black disc variant of Lunar: The Silver Star for Sega CD, probably one of the most hard to find variants for the system. This one also comes with the proper back insert, with the little blue dot in the corner next to the barcode. It ran me $30 but was worth it since now I've got all the Lunar variants in their proper cases.

Skip the vid until the end. It was extremely well packaged, so it took over four minutes to open.
