Cool, thanks for letting me know! I don't know if this is already confirmed, but I think (this would make sense), the blue text shows up with the blue boxed X'eye and red text shows up with the red boxed version.

Picked these up recently. I wanted to get a copy of Snake Rattle N Roll for a while now and of course Life Force so I can stop depending on a friend's copy. I also finally managed to find a loose Sparkster for cheap and I'd been looking for Deadlock 2 forever. I love both of the Deadlock games.

That seems to be the logical and general consensus. But the real mystery is the black text variant...

It is an insult to Alien Soldier
I would buy that in a heartbeat because I love campy westernized box art. I assume it's meant to be an homage to that, and in that regard the art is actually really nice and cartoony and neat.

I also picked up these two DS games recently:

Some friends and I made a road trip to the retro store in San Juan. I traded in some stuff and got:

    - Sega Power Base Converter (boxed)
    - Quartet, Master System (complete)
    - Aztec Adventure, Master System (complete)
    - Kung-Fu Kid, Master System (game and box)
    - Risk, Genesis (complete)
    - Shadow of the Beast II, Genesis (cart)
    - Gun Force, SNES (cart)
    - Super Empire Strikes Back, SNES (cart)
    - Axelay, SNES (cart)
    - Super Turrican, SNES (cart)
    - Biometal, SNES (cart)
    - Virtua Cop, Saturn (Stunner pack-in with manual and jewel case)

All of it only cost me $30 out-of-pocket.

By far the most expensive game I've ever purchased at almost $90.00 shipped, but worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Can't find the game on eBay, is it rare?

It wasn't released in the US, and I've only seen it a few times on ebay for about $40-$50, cartridge-only.

Wow, and you opened it?? I can just imagine all the bleeding hearts on NintendoAge in their VGA-graded thread, crying about how much that game would have been worth if it had been VGA graded...

Then again, they do have a point. How hard could it have been to find a CIB copy, or at least a cart only copy? It probably would have been cheaper.

Well, I wanted it to play it. Besides, how would I know if it was actually legit if I never opened it?

And if you had read my post carefully, you would have seen that I mentioned that this game hardly ever shows up on ebay, and that it goes for $40-$50 cart-only. $90 for a brand-new game is a much better value than $50 for some dirty loose cartridge.

So it is hard to find and obviously cheaper if I wanted to go cart-only.

In my opinion, those guys can just fuck off with that VGA-graded pristine sealed garbage. Last I checked, games were to be played and not collected and solely used to act like a total elitist asshole and say "Oh I have this and you don't in a sealed slab of plastic, never to be touched by human hands again."

    What a waste!

QFT. Sure, collecting is kinda cool, but don't you buy a game to, you know, fucking PLAY IT?

Newer pickups. All CIB and great shape. I feel really good about the Master of Monsters and Popful Mail prices - snagged MoM when it was first put on BIN and for Mail I asked a seller the question about condition and took a gamble when the auction didn't have any pics. Lunar is kind of more 'eh' - $40 is certainly no deal, and about the max going price I'd say.

    Master of Monsters - $28
Lunar: Silver Star Story - $39
    Popful Mail - $45

    Uncharted 3

    Tatsujin

Man, I really dig the bassline in this version - too bad it disappears as soon as you hit the fire button.
