Got the same thing for the same deal. Also bought the $20 transfer cable, carefully opened it, used it, packed it back up like it was new and returned it. Shame on MS for requiring a proprietary cable for this.

Bought a 32 inch LCD flatscreen Philips TV today. It had an S-video input on it which got my interest. I plugged in a Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64 and both consoles looked gorgeous. Next was the Genesis. The picture kept moving back and forth all jittery. What good is a TV that can't play Sega Genesis games?
Back to store it goes!!!
Picked up a Frogger arcade cabinet yesterday for $10.It's missing the board and it's in pretty bad shape, but I should be able to bring it back to life (most likely not as a frogger tho). I really don't need a second arcade cabinet, but I couldn't resist since it was 10 bux and only 4.4 miles from my house.

I absolutely LOVE board games; perhaps more than video games. I just received this baby in the mail.
That's right... it's one of only 500 copies... of the Kickstarter Edition of Eminent Domain. And this makes me better then you in every way.

Damn, I really want a copy of Yu Yu Hakusho. Nice haul!
I just got my first Japanese Mega Drive game, actually! Magical Taruruuto-kun! I know Melf didn't exactly give it a glowing review, but a lot of the posters here seemed to disagree with his opinion. Haven't played it much yet but man, what a great looking game! Oh yeah, I don't have a region switch yet either, this just happens to be one of the games that came out before they started with the software lock-outs. And I have a JVC X'Eye, which has a large enough cartridge slot to fit Japanese games without the need to mutilate them or use a Game Genie! Neat feature.
$19.98 on eBay with free shipping. Oh, and I love the manual in this thing! Full color manuals kick ass. And I love the second to last page which has little drawings of Sonic telling you how you should treat your software.
Also recently picked up Suikoden V for PS2 (disc not pictured 'cause I've been playing it!):
Complete at GameStop for $29.99 + tax, which is kind of expensive but the asking prices for this on one eBay are getting pretty ridiculous. But I ended up getting a really good deal on it, because my buddy was with me at the time and he said he'd pay for half of it because he really wanted to play it, too. So, basically it cost me a little more than 15 bucks.
I really like it so far, it really does play exactly like a 3D version of Suikoden & Suikoden II, as opposed to numbers III & IV, which changed a lot of things up. So far I'm really enjoying it.
Got both for $175
