Nice haul, Mizphit! Shinobi Legions is awesome, totally doesn't get enough love.
I checked out my nearest game store today. As usual they had some games priced really cheap, and some games higher then ebay. I bought this for $5.55:
Now there was something that caught my eye. They had some Game Gear games they keep behind glass. Does anyone know if these games are any good?:

Isn't that Vampire game the one that plays like Castlevania? I remember the GG having a game like Master of Darkness on Master System.

Going to be honest; I've sort of lost track of what I've gotten recently. Everything here is CIB. Some of the prices are prob. a few bucks off because I can't be bothered to look all these up.
Rez and Guilty Gear ($50)
Ikaruga ($65)
DUX ($25)
Spawn: In the Demon's Hand ($10)
Dark Wizard ($15)
Sega CD Backup Cart ($15)
Christmas Nights ($7)
Dungeons and Dragons Collection ($80)
Radiant Silvergun ($120)
Vampire Savior ($20)
Gunbird ($15)
Assault Suits Leynos 2 ($20)
Had the reference sheet, even. Had to include the second pic just because I was so WTF to see that this was on the first page of the manual.
And by WTF I mean 'haha, this is awesome'
Sonic Jam ($20)
Darius Gaiden ($30)
Wing Arms ($7)
T-MEK ($15)
Elemental Master ($20)
Valis III ($18)
El Viento ($25)
Arrow Flash ($20)
Golden Axe ($6)
Golden Axe II ($5)
And then these arrived while I was making this post:
Shining the Holy Ark ($35)
Exile ($20)
Gunbird 2 ($25)
And a closeup of Exile because a) the box art kicks ass and b) I always bitch about Renovation games being in absolutely shitty condition and this one, for once, wasn't.

Nice indeed. Looking at the pic, now I wish my copy of Leynos 2 wasn't missing the instructions.![]()
I did, good guess! Not sure if I want a full set, since I still try to stick to games I actually enjoy or are interesting/valuable. I mean, does anyone really need Dinoland or the cart version of Earnest Evans in their collection? That said, I still would like Gain Ground, Final Zone, Vapor Trail, and Traysia, since those are actually decent.
Haha, indeed.
In case you weren't aware, all but one kind of MVS converter, unmodded have all sorts of compatibility problems. So far the only converter to work 100% out of the box is DavidG's Daedalus converter. The only problem is it's worth about twice ($400) what other converters are usually worth ($200).
Since you're handy with a soldering iron, I suggest buying the Phantom 1 or Super MVS Converter II and buying one of DavidG's upgrade PCBs.![]()
I think you're right about that. I can't remember any sources, but I'm positive "Vampire" on Game Gear is a repackaging of Master of Darkness.
Nice Pickups @ Genesisknight and Zetastrike.
I've been meaning to post my own pickups for a while. May a picture will do better than a video this time around.
I think it's a bootleg actually. They do make stupid choices, but I like the store. They're the kind of people who price all the Sega CD games for $12 each. It could be a factory sealed Snatcher, or a dirty ass Sewer Shark disc that has disc rot. It's the kind of game store you can score an awesome deal at.
There was another thing they had that was disgustingly over priced. They had a stack of Pokemon Gold cartridges with a message saying "does not save" for $20 each.
Also, I've packaged up 3 boxes to Sega-16 members, and 2 went to Nintendoage members. There will be a few people posting their hauls here soon!
Couldn't resist picking this up last week:
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PS3, new for €33.
I already finished MGS2 and am now halfway through MGS3. MGS2 hasn't really changed much; the sound is nicer in 5.1, but the game and story are still as cooky as ever. MGS3 on the other hand, does benefit a lot from the sharper graphics and smoother framerate. Plus this is the Subsistence version of the game, with the third person camera, which makes the gameplay experience quite different. Slightly easier but far more pleasant.
And I also got a new PS2 Dual Shock controller today for €24. Think of it as future-proofing my hardware.
^They couldn't even bother to include the GameCube remake of the first part?
