All complete. I traded some Sega CD games from my thread for these. For ex-rentals, they look great. I'll put a bit of weight on the side of Excitebike to fix it, but otherwise I just have to take off a few stickers.

Yeah, they looks great. A lot better than the CIBs I traded you...
Picked up another VA2 Genesis Model 2 for $5 at one of my local flea markets so I can have a stock VA2 Genesis Model 2 again. My other VA2s are modified (one has a mod done to it to fix the PSG and FM volume levels, the other is going to have its YM2612 replaced by the YM3438), and since I have stock consoles with all the other motherboard revisions, I needed a replacement stock VA2 Genesis Model 2.
Also picked up a second FC3 Plus at that same flea market for $20. This is an early-revision system and I've noticed some very minor differences with the Nintendo sides of the system:
-The NES side is 100% unchanged
-The Super NES side has less video interference than the later revisions and no excess red
But the big difference is the Genesis side. As this is an early-revision FC3 Plus, the GOAC is a TCT-6705, not the TCT6035 found in later revisions. Here's what I've found different:
-ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE video; WAY too dark, heavily oversaturated and VERY blurry
-PSG is too loud
-The sound is VERY heavily filtered (at least Genesis Model 1 level) and sounds nothing like later FC3 Pluses. The later revisions have very heavily high-pass filtered sound with weak bass and slightly distorted low-end, but these earlier revisions have VERY deep bass and don't have as much distortion (it's already very light on the new-revision FC3 Plus)
-Virtua Racing doesn't work (pin B26 is not connected to the GOAC)
-Master System games don't work (and yet, pin B30 is connected to the GOAC! WTF?!)
I'm going to put the Genesis side of the early-revision FC3 Plus through its paces, then use the PCBs in there for some projects I have in mind (that's what I bought this FC3 Plus for in the first place).
Hit up the local game shop and picked up....
PS 2 Games
Bully
Dark Cloud 2
Devil May Cry 2
Jak 2
Street Fighter Alpha Anthology
Twisted Metal Black
I also picked up...
Star Wars : Rogue Squadron, Gamecube
F-Zero, SNES
DKC 3, SNES, Complete
Last I picked up Ready to Rumble Boxing for the Dreamcast for $1.99 at Goodwill. Most of the games were between 3 to 5 bucks except DKC 3, and Dark Cloud 2. My Ps2 collection is getting close to hitting the 100 mark, and there are still quite a few games I want to get.
Got some stuff off ebay and Amazon. So far only 2 of the games have arrived, most are loose, 2 are boxed.
Stuff I got so far off this haul:
NES: Whomp Em
Genesis: Ultimate Qix
Stuff I'm waiting on:
Lock N Chase GB
Solomon's Club GB
Puyo Puyo Tsu MD complete
Midnight Resistance boxed Gen
Pop N Twinbee SFC
Joe and Mac Gen
Two Crude Dudes Gen
More N64 goodness. I hit the flea market and got Madden, Spiderman, Rayman, & a NES controller. I traded the Dreamcast games from my thread for them and spent $1 for some gumballs at another booth. I saw some people walking around with bootleg movies so I decided to take a look where that booth was. I found it and I was going to buy the Muppets, but then some guy shouted at me to put it down or be charged. Some under cover cops were searching some Asian people and were pretty much shutting the booth down. If only I had arrived 10 minutes quicker.
I hit a different store and bought All Star Tennis for $15. I couldn't find anything decent this time and I really didn't want to leave empty-handed so I bought a friggen sports game. The last time I went there I posted some pictures of their Game Gear section and you guys were loling over how over priced things were. I snapped a couple of pictures of more over priced things.

Only $12.40 for a Sewer Shark disc. They do have a special of 3 for $30 though.

Recent purchases are Mass Effect 3 (Newegg $50 new) and Binary Domain (Newegg $45 new) both for 360.
I'm going to be done N64 collecting in a month at this rate.I have 5 more complete games, a nearly complete Gameshark, and the box+manual for Conker. I got all this in a trade with another Sega-16er.
If you have a N64 Gameshark that made it past the 90 day warranty then you got real lucky. This new one works like a charm! Canada Post also delivered this box early, instead of obnoxiously late.
@cheaterdragon1 are you trying to collect all the N64 games for NA or JPN too?
Pretty neat little haul I got off ebay recently:
The guy was pretty specific in his description that he didn't test anything, and that buyers should probably only be buying them for parts. The two Gameboys are what caught my eye, as well as the SNES pad (I already own both SNES versions). I figured that the bundle could be worth the risk, as long as I got it for a reasonable price.
Red "Play It Loud" GameBoy: Tested and works, although the screen has a vertical line in it. No biggie, since I'll probably just end up swapping the screen out with one of my working DMGs and backlighting it anyway. Good condition on this one.
Red GameBoy Pocket: Tested and works, although it doesn't have a battery cover. Again, no biggie, since I have a non-working GBP that I bought at the flea market recently, and that does have a battery cover. The green casing fits over the red's guts quite nicely.
SNES Mini: No cables, and quite dirty. Swapped out the console with one I already had set up and the thing works just fine. Wish I could have looked into the future and seen this ebay listing, because I bought an SNES Mini for $60 just recently. Oh well, now I have a spare.
SNES Original: No cables, and the power port is broken. No way for me to test it until I fix that, but I'm in no rush since I have two other working Super Nintendos now.
SNES asciipad: This apparently works all right. I don't have any games that would benefit from a turbo pad like this, but for the time being I'll just hold it and pretend I'm Dave White.
Two Crappy SNES Games: Who cares if they work?
Total shipped: $41.35
MrMatthews, how many Game Boys/Pockets do you have? I'm not criticizing, I'd love to collect all the colors. I'm just curious.
My Collection: http://vgcollect.com/zetastrikeOriginally Posted by A Black Falcon
I don't take that as criticism.I have a silver one, a (now) working green one, and a (now) empty red shell with a non-working PCB that doesn't actually count.
As for the original GameBoy, I think I have about ten gray ones that run the full gamut: some are in perfect working order, a couple that have been modded, and quite a few that have been completely disassembled. Oh, and the red one now - I plan to get the other colors eventually.
