I hit up my local game store and picked up a few things.

    NES
    Marble Madness
    StarTropics
    Pro Wrestling
    $3.99 each
    Gamecube
    Waverace, Blue Storm $3.99
    PS2
GTA 3, $4.99 I think I've owned this game 3 times now. I have no idea what keeps happening to it.
    Shinobi, $2.99
    SNES
    Gradius 3 Complete, $9.99
Last but not least. For the past month or two I've been contemplating picking up a Saturn they've had in there for awhile. The price was $49.99 which I figured was about average. Today I asked the sales guy if he would take it down off the shelf so I could look at it. All they're older console bundles are shrink wrapped in this plastic like lots of game places do. When he pulled it down I noticed shrink wrapped in the back there were 2 cartridges, an ST key and a backup cartridge. Anyway, I am now the proud owner of a Sega Saturn. I know next to nothing about the Saturn, but I figure the backup is for saving and the ST key is for playing imports. When I got home I opened it up and realized on the bottom of the package was a baggie with a Saturn instruction manual, 4 Saturn stickers, and a 32x instruction manual. It also came with the power and a/v cables and one controller. I'm pretty happy with my pick up, and it looks like I'm gonna have to start doing some importing.

Figured I would post my latest haul.

^^^ Most of this is probably going to end up for sale ( I mean who needs that many Japanese Mega Drives right?) I might end up keeping the Mega Adapter since they seem to be a little difficult to find at times.

^^^ better look at the loose Mega drive games. I had a pile of boxed ones too but accidently left them at my sisters house when I was unpacking the box.

^^^ Mega CD games had no idea how cool Silpheed really was.

^^^ Playdia and more Playdia games then any one ever needs.

^^^ Close up of the left side.

    ^^^ and the other side.

Holy crap, dude, where did you get all this?! I wonder what's the motherboard revision on the MegaDrive 2, because if you're gonna sell it, I may buy it. And probably one of the MegaDrive Model 1s if it's got a VA0 motherboard in it.

Man I hate people who quote a post full of pictures...

The odds of him having a Model 1 VA0 in there somewhere is extremely slim, btw.

I edited the post. Is that better for you? Jeez.

In other news, I got screwed over by China FOR THE THIRD TIME! Once again, I got two more YM2413s after I found out the first four chips I got from UTSource.net were fake. Guess what? One chip is fake, and the other doesn't even work and might have been real. I am so f***ing mad.

    What's different in Rev00?

Ace, I've been meaning to say this to you for a while but you live a pretty stressful life!

From what I've seen running Revision 0 and Revision 1 on Fusion, it looks like Revision 1 has different graphics for signs on the side of the road. I think this was done to make the signs look less like Marlboro ads.

And it looks my US version of Super Hang-On is Revision 0.

I see a Master of Weapon in there, wow. Damn thing is always too pricey when I see them on ebay.

Not stressful, busy. But it doesn't take much for me to fly off the handle, especially if I've waited a LONG time for something only to get that something and it's defective or counterfeit. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

Rev00 has no frame limit (You overclock your Mega Drive and you are ready to have a very good arcade experience) and the ads on the tracks are closer to the real ones (Bridgestone, Marlboro...).
I think all Japanese Super Hang-On copies are Rev00. At least I had the likes of 4 JP copies and all of them were Rev00.

@Ace: I can't tell you how many times I've seen people quote mile long posts for no reason. It's just common courtesy to other viewers to not do something like that...

@DavidJ: Yes, supposedly rev00 has no frame limit. Rev01 has a frame limit but it seems to be pretty high. I think when compared to MHz speed, rev01's sits somewhere around 10 - 11 MHz. I'd like to eventually get a rev00 for use on an overclocked Genesis so I can at least play Super Hang On at near-arcade speeds (which are at times crazy fast). I don't care if the cartridge is US or JP, just that it's rev00. I already have the rev01 version on the 6-Pak.
