x-men games are kind of a hit and miss, some are good and some arn't. x-men 2 for genesis is pretty good though. what is it that you don't like about mutant apocolypse for snes?

I've just played for about an hour so far, and it's been pretty impressive. The voice acting is good, and the graphics are above average. I know some reviews have stated that the visuals are some of the best on the Wii, but that's not really the case. At least initially. But they're still good.
It's way too early for me to say anything definitive about the battle system. It's similar to FF12 in that you see enemies and battle from the field, and actions are automated, but I've yet to give fellow party members specific commands yet. It may just be a case of it being extremely early in the game. Basic tutorials are rolling out every few minutes.
Hopefully I'll have better impressions posted soon. Just need to invest some hours. I'll follow up in the RPG thread (insert coin).
I finally bought me a "GOOD" phone and not only that, 4 games in one! WOW
BTW I have a loose manual for Target Earth, if anybody is interested and maybe can trade me a Mega Turrican manual for it.
***Visualshock! Speedshock! Soundshock! Now is time to the 68000 heart on fire!***
Found a $20 bill on the ground today. I donated it to my local Humane Society.
Later I went to the local pawn shop. I noticed they had some new games in, and it seemed everything was priced accordingly with no deals. Then I found this:
It's not everyday you find the rarest and most expensive N64 cart for only $10!
Finally found decently-priced Lynx on Ebay. $45.00. It actually works and includes three games (two with manuals) and the Lynx hardware manual.
I was so excited about the Lynx that I immediately bought one of the primary games I wanted for it: Rygar. Still brand-new and sealed (but no box). This game arrived about a week before the Lynx did.
And this arrived in the mail today; a gift from my boy LA Jordon. Metal Slug 1st Mission, Puzzle Link, and Samurai Shodown 2

Thunderblaze: I find it kinda funny how two of those games have a naked woman on the cover.
MrMatthews and cheaterdragon: Awesome hauls!

There was a ton I found in Texas, but the prices were scary so I limited myself to 8 games, and 1 box for my Chiki Chiki Boys I already had, total cost, $187.

I could've really cleaned house had the prices been cheaper at these Texas Game Over stores, but I can be thankful I was able to afford some things. I think tears will flow once I realize how much I spent in one shot.
Edit: I was on vacation there, otherwise it was a nice week spent between San Marcos, Austin, and San Antonio. Even got to go underground in New Braunfels.
I sent my first novel off for copyrighting this weekend. Now I just have to wait... and wait... and wait, for it to be processed.
I also went to the flea market, and bought myself a complete copy of Splatterhouse 2 for the Genesis, and a complete copy of Grandia for the Saturn... both in great shape, and for $10 total.
All in all, not a bad weekend.
Currently Reviewing: Desert Strike (SMS), Galaxy Force (SMS)
Coming Up:TF3 Side by Side
Done: Jim Power: The Lost Dimension
True story. I just bought a copy last night and had to pay $70 for it (shipped). That was the cheapest one I could find for sale online. Gamestop's site says "back ordered" right now. If your local Gamestop has one, I'd pick it up. (Or more if you want to sell them online and make money).
Ahhh but it was my territory for a week. Went there on a mission for Shinobi III, Gunstar Heroes and Sonic 3D Blast, found all but GH.
Austin is one heck of a city, it is beautiful, took some pictures of the capitol building, and got to see the bats around the 1st Street Bridge over the Colorado River (Lady Bird Lake, lovely name, beautiful water). Also caught a nice glimpse of where the Longhorns play college football, would've loved to have gotten closer. Also found Pinballz, a local pinball/video game arcade, some classic titles there, though the pinball games are a tad stiff at $1 a pop.
Asked the going rate for Gunstar Heroes if the Game Overs ever have them, $40 loose, no way in hell will I pay that much (shame I only ran into the GBA sequel).
