That's an OK haul I guess. Would have been better if you had been able to get the Mega Drive version of Flicky but you didn't so I guess I can only be moderately impressed with all of the common stuff you have there that can be found at any Gamestop.

Tell you what... You send some of this stuff over to me, and I'll use it for you. Then I'll tell you all about it. It'll be just like you using it...vicariously...through me.

Wow, that's a pretty awesome haul. I've always been interested in getting a Net Yaroze but have no idea what the asking price for them is.

Oh, and for smoke smell what works well for me is first wiping down a plastic item with vinegar, then putting the item(s) in a closed off area (I've got an extra bathroom in the basement) with a shallow open dish of vinegar in there. Eventually you'll get rid of the smoke smell with vinegar, but the vinegar smell seems to fade after a couple days as well.

I bought a camera yesterday! A Canon PowerShot ELPH 300, which Best Buy had on sale for $150. They offered a bundle which added an extra battery, a 4 gig SD card, and a carrying case for $179, so I went for that. I added a one-year accidental replacement plan for $23 bucks just to throw the sales girl a bone (I worked a job where I was always pressured to sell replacement plans, and it really sucked), so it came to a little less than $217 after tax. I'm pretty happy with my purchase!

So now that I have a better way of taking pictures, thought I'd share the recent game stuff I've picked up! Everything is complete, just to get that out of the way.

    PSX:

Armored Core: Master of Arena (Play N Trade, $4.99 + tax)
    The Granstream Saga (eBay, $7)
Legend of Legaia (local used game store, $5 + tax after trade-ins)
Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX (Goodwill, $1.99)
    Parasite Eve (eBay, $20.60)
Rage Racer (Play N Trade, $3.49 + tax)
    Tekken 2 (Goodwill, $1.99)
    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (Goodwill, $1.99)

    PS2:

    The Bouncer (Goodwill, $3.99)

    Retro Gamer:

Here is my extremely modest collection of Retro Gamer magazines. Issues 96 - 101 (with the bonus reprint of Issue One between #99 & #100). Love this mag!

    Talking

I bought a boxed Master System I with Super Hang-On on card. The Master System had
supposedly never worked. At time of purchase, the owner got a new adapter for it, but
    that didn't do anything, either.

I hooked it up with my RGB scart cable and it works just fine It's a 1.3 version with-
out any built-in games. Unless you cound the Snail Maze game, which I haven't tested
    yet.

So anyway, I got a working (and great-looking) Master System I with box, 2 controllers,
antenna cable, manual, catalog poster and Super Hang-On on card with manual for 31,75
    Euros including shipping

    Saturn

Got my first Saturn in yesterday! I've wanted one for years. I'm so happy to finally have it! I traded a bunch of games that I didn't really want that had that were just and were just taking up space. It was pretty much the best deal ever!

Nice! I hope to own a master system some day... I've always considered it to be one of the best looking consoles of the 8 bit era. Along with the Atari 7800 of course.

What's with the LED on the front of the Saturn? Open it up and see if it's modded or something.

Damn, I was hoping it might be like HAL from 2001.

Two recent ebay purchases. Notice somthing about both of them? Both of these games were Blockbuster exclusives. Razor Freestyle Scooter is new and sealed. It was over printed so it's very easy to find to find sealed copies of the game. Transformers on the other hand will set you back quite a bit if you want the box and manual. This one is complete and almost near mint. The packaging is great but there's a huge Blockbuster sticker across the back label of the N64 cart. I'm just going to leave it, as it's part of the history behind this game.

Something odd about these two games is that they have no artwork on the red side: http://i50.tinypic.com/2m6suf7.jpg I swear these are the only two N64 games I've seen with no artwork there.

No wonder I never knew about that Beast Wars game, we don't have Blockbuster where I'm from.

^There's a version of Beast Wars: Transmetals without the BB Exclusive thing on the bottom.

Very nicely done Cheater! That Beast Wars looks really nice too.
