Today I got three cables in the mail:

Two Nintendo-64 S-Video cables, patched for PAL consoles to output a correct image. That looks much better than the crappy composite PAL users are normally stuck with. Now then maybe I can actually start using the console seriously.

And one Mega Drive II RGB SCART cable, to replace the broken one I got now.

    Each cable was £9.99 apiece.

I approve of this post! Nice to see more people approaching the N64 rationally.

This is supposed to be a very good N64 game, and because of it being a Blockbuster game it's a real pain to find complete. It's in decent shape although I'm going to put the manual in a heavy book which will hopefully squish those dog ears back down.

Don't remember the others from the top of my head. I had to act quick (to prevent other bidders from seeing it) and the
    listing has since been removed.
Just received it, it's a Mega Drive II box with Toy Story sleeve. Games I forgot to add were Maui Mallard, Aladdin and
Daffy Duck goes to Hollywood. I'm quite pleased with this at 50 Euros plus shipping!

I just checked out Retro Game Cave. Nice products, but... those are some rip-off prices. Sorry if the owner is a member here.

$19.99 for a power adapter that runs all three Sega 16-bit consoles seems like a good deal to me.

For the Model 1, do I need to have all three hooked up, or can I just have two hooked up (ie model 1 cd and model 1 genesis?) I only have 1 32X and I am not buying another. I have it hooked up to my Model 2 Genesis and Model 2 CD.

It's my birthday today! For a few more minutes, anyway. So here's my birthday haul and some other stuff.

    Games:

Panzer Dragoon Orta (complete) - $4.99
Vagrant Story (case and game only) - $13.99
    Xenoblade (sealed) - gift

Picked up PDO last week at one of the semi-local Goodwills, although not the one I typically go to (the one where I found my copy MUSHA). I already have Vagrant Story (complete with the manual and demo disc), but the case inserts were a bit water damaged so I wanted to replace it. So I bought the cheapest "case only" copy I could find on eBay. I swapped the cases and now I'll probably trade the extra one for credit at the local game store. Xenoblade is a birthday gift from my mom and my brothers, and I'm super excited to play it! I love Xenogears and Xenosaga.

    DVDs:

    Futurama Volumes 1, 3 & 4 - $5.99 apiece

Decided to do some thrifting on my birthday, so I hit up the same Goodwill where I got that copy of PDO and they had all three of these seasons of Futurama there. The outer slip covers are a bit damaged, but all of the discs are pretty much pristine and that's all that matters to me. They go for about $22 + tax at retail so pretty good deal for me! I love this show, and my two favorite episodes ("Jurassic Bark" and "A Pharaoh to Remember") just so happen to be included in these particular seasons!
