I'm a sucker for the old GameBoys, too. Right now I have 10 original DMGs and a red one, along with 5.5 GameBoy Pockets. Eventually I plan to have every color available for each model (including that sweet DMG-themed Pocket that never got released to the States). I don't really care too much about the GameBoy Colors or any of the GBA models, but I'd love to find a reasonably-priced GameBoy Micro.
Edit: Oops, almost forgot to mention what I found today.
No games, but I found a pair of really nice "Lazy Susan" style shelving units that were probably designed for VHS tapes or DVDs. Each stands about 4 feet tall and holds about 40 boxed Genesis or NES games on a side.

Rep to you for some GunCon love.
I love my original GunCon and consider it one of the best supported peripherals for the original Playstation. People also say that they can't tell the difference, but I play a lot of lightgun games and there is definitely a difference. If you tried to play a Point Blank game with another gun I would believe that there are stages that would be impossible to finish.
Now if only I could locate a golden Guncon![]()
FINALLY this actually arrived! (Well, I picked it up - it was in the post office. So I'm not sure whether to blame Italian Post for it taking a whole month, or Royal Mail. I think... both.)
Also finally bought one of these. It's much nicer than the regular GBA (doesn't cramp my hands), and has a backlight. Cost £13. I played the Spyro game a bit. Like the style, shame about the isometricness.
^
I love Galaga and Gaplus. Is Galaga 2 just Gaplus repackaged? I cannot imagine playing it on a small handheld though. For me, the optimal way to play Galaga was on the clicky arcade stick back in the 80's. One day, I will have a clicky arcade stick to properly play Galaga again.
It is finished!
It's a (somewhat dinky) port of Galaga '88. I've only played the arcade version on MAME and Gaplus on Wii, so I'm not really familiar with the various ports. I'm really liking the GG version though, it's simple, addictive and runs fairly smoothly. PAL version's a git to find on GG, if you're interested you'd be better off going for '91 (the Japanese version) - though I suspect most people could live without it![]()
$23.00 Out the door.
I also bought DoDonPachi Resurrection for the 360 but that probably won't be here for another week. I can feel another shmup summer coming on, and I like it.
Akai Katana for $23.00? Where did you get it. At that price I gotta pick it up.
It was at Gamestop, but I used a $10 off coupon and an employee discount. I paid around $40 for DoDonPachi and even though I've only put an hour on Akai Katana so far, I think it's worth the full $40. The ability to download top player's replays on your 360 blew my mind, and I'm really digging the whole vibe it has going for it.
Just gotten for 3DS: Naruto Shippuden 3D The New Era
DS: 4 Elements
Saturn: Mega Man 3, Mega Man 8 and Minnesota Fats Pool Legend.
Amiga: Crystal Dragon
Also DVD American Dad 7
Oh man, I meant to upload all of Minnesota Fats: Pool Legend's cutscenes months ago to YouTube but never did it because I don't even know how to convert Saturn Cinepak files.
Still, it's a pretty good game.

Grabbed a CDX off ebay for $150. Unit came with 1 3 button, 1 6 button, and the official power adapter. Sadly, no A/V cable, and I have a model 1 genny, so I can't test it yet as the one I ordered didn't show up yet.
But, it powers on fine, and the overall shape is very good. Other than some green marker on the underside it doesn't have a single scratch on it, and only 1 tiny scuff mark near the line out jack.
The recent Game Sack episode got me wanting to revisit DKC, so I picked up the DKC2 for the GBA for $11.99 and I plan on getting the other two for it as well.

After days and days of waiting, a nice little package arrived in the mail today.
9 complete-as-hell GameBoy games for $220 shipped.
That means I paid just under $25 each for these games (two of which I already own CIB)...
...but it also means that I paid just under $25 for each of these games...
Just for comparison, last time I saw a CIB copy of Stop That Roach come up on ebay, it was bid up to around $150.
^^^ Those last four gameboy games sure looks very interesting to play, it's a shame I don't see them in wild anymore due to cutthroat collectors and resellers.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.
