I used to never have any luck at Goodwills, and now I'm always finding something.

    Today:

    Loose NES games ($3 each)
    Tetris (Nintendo, not Tengen)
    Q*Bert (from Konami?)
    Joust (from HAL???)
    Dig Dug II
    Burgertime

I don't know how valuable any of those games are, but I was amused to see the soon-to-be big names handling these ports.

Oh, I also found a boxed Super Nintendo for $30.

    PS2 games I bought today:

    Devil May Cry
    Zone of the Enders
    Commandos 2
    The Mark of Kri
    Thunderstrike
    Hidden Invasion

I got them all complete except for the MGS2 demo in ZOE and the manual for Hidden Invasion. HI is pure cheese though. It's like an inspired fan game of Fighting Force and Die Hard Arcade. For under five bucks, I love it. Also I bought Thunderstrike because I thought it was Fireblade. Thunderstrike is not Fireblade. I realize it seems strange that I could mix the two, but I couldn't remember the name. All I could remember was an awesome combat helicopter game. It was only after getting home and checking the internet that I realized my mistake. Thunderstrike is OK, but it isn't Fireblade.

They read my post and wanted to be like me. That's how it happened.

Hal doesn't get enough credit for their non-Kirby stuff on the NES.

Finally got myself a Dreamcast. Here's the entire haul:

    - Dreamcast (including 2 Controllers, 2 VMU's, and the Games Virtua Tennis, Rayman 2, Space Channel 5, Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi): 15 €. (The seller Sold it as defect, said it "won't read all games". Bought it on a whim, thought the laser needed some recalibrating. Turns Out I was right, now the issue's fixed and the console works like a charm!)
    - Dreamcast Keyboard: 5,50 €
    - Shenmue: 20 € (since I felt I made a bargain on the DC, I thought I could spend a little more on that game).
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

    Very nice!

Do you have the original Doom cart that came with the bundle with the "Not For Resale" Sticker on it as well? It took me a couple of months but I did manage to track down all three of the pack-in carts with the stickers on them eventually.

    Why did I buy this?

    I have no idea.

Also, might have an X68000 up for trade/sale soon. I have a spare.

    Nice!

I would also recommend Kid Icarus 3D Classics and Saku-something Samurai.

Aw, hell... get Kid Icarus Uprising, too.

    That's one pimpin' Pipin!

MrMatthews: I plan to get both KI games. I also want the GB Blaster Master game. I would have bought it yesterday, but that $20 card went mighty quick!

CIB for $15. It's in nicer shape than it looks; the glare really caught that sticker residue on the top right (haven't gotten around to cleaning it yet).

If only Saturn Bomberman was this cheep!

    3DS XL

I may be the only one not impressed by this upgrade. The yellowish tint of the screens bothers me a lot. Also, the slide-pad doesn't feel as smooth as the original.

I was going to sell my original, but I may keep it a while longer just in case of another upgrade.

Hori 3DS XL Screen Protectors, War Games, and New Super Mario Bros. 2

Remember the days when the point of a handheld was that it was supposed to be small and portable? The XL completely defeats the purpose. Next they'll release a 3DSXXL the size of the laptop, but with no second thumbstick.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.
