    I don't know what it is about Neo Geo owners, but they will hate you if you have a bootleg cart. They will motherfucking hate you. Only the originals will do, even if it's other people and not themselves. Very vile and elitist group of people. They'll also hate you for having an AES, but not as much.

    Why are Neo Geo owners so goddamn miserable? They're so hateful. Is it from living on ramen and mountain lightning?

    The elitists will hate me for having a USA Gold Edition AES? I didn't think it got much more elite than that. I'm not at all concerned with their opinion of me. I do what makes me happy.

    No they will hate you for owning a xxx-in-1 cart. The folks at neo-geo.com (specifically) will hate you for having anything to do with Neotropolis.

    Yeah, Neo-Geo.com is mostly a retard fuckfest. However there are some hidden gems of members over there. The ugly ones just stand out like sore thumbs though. Like an ugly 80's sweater with shoulder pads, they seem to overshadow everything else.

    Yeah, the colors are kinda ugly. They should have gone with something a bit friendlier.

    I wouldn't call it crap by any means, but i would say it gets old fast playing fighter after fighter after fighter.... with a few mediocre shooters thrown in and a couple so-so sports games.

    I don't know how anything about the Neo Geo could be considered crap.. To each their own though. On topic though I picked up Newmanhaas IndyCar today for $5 and turned it into this..

    As an AES owner I would have to agree with this actually. Cheap brittle plastic, low quality PCB with solder pads that lift up if you look at them wrong... It's really a shame since it deserves so much better. Still a nice system regardless.

    It seems like they would at least give you insane build quality in the AES since they were selling it at an insane price.

    I've never owned an AES but this is the first time I've ever heard that they are cheaply and/or poorly made.
