I shoulda bought it while I was home on leave, and just brought it back with me. As it was on sale for $150 back home. But full price when I got back! Best Buy wanted $140 for this Door Chime/Alarm Harness, and I found the one I needed from one of the aftermarket brands they use at a Walmart for $38! And they where out at the first Best Buy I went into to get it installed at. Oh well...

It only cost me like $60-something out of pocket ($38 for the harness and I only had to pay $23 for the installation out of pocket)
If there's one thing I hate it's swapping CD's (especially in the car with one hand on the steering wheel ). IMO it takes the enjoyment out of listening to music.

Great stuff & great that you got such a good bargain. I hope you're getting a good lot of use out of it

I'd love to get one of these. Someday hopefully...

In the Hunt (new) - US Saturn
This game never loads on my US and Japanese Saturn with the circular power/reset button, but it sometimes loads on my launch US Saturn with the oval power/reset button. What the hell is wrong with this game?

Namco Museum Encore (new) - Jpn PS
I got this collection mainly for the awesome Dragon Saber. Shinji Hosoe music in this game is simply amazing (stage 3 music especially). I also found out that when using a Japanese PS2 to play Rolling Thunder (on this collection as well) makes the game run slow as molasses. Luckily I have a Japanese PSOne which solves that problem.

Thats to bad. That's a good game. I have the Ps1 version but have yet to track down the Saturn one.

In the H(C)unt is a picky game on Saturns, sadly...
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

I wouldn`t have a clue as to which motherboard version it is.... it will however be joining the other 8 megadrive II`s, the only problem (or blessing depending on who you are) with buying bundles.

For me it's a problem, because my house is FLOODED with MegaDrive IIs(US Genesis 2), both functional and broken.
As for figuring out the motherboard size, just flip your MegaDrive II upside-down and look through the bottom air vents. There's a metal plate that usually takes up the entire casing. Those have piss-poor sound quality. If you see the metal plate ends before reaching the other side of the casing, you have one of the good MegaDrive IIs.
While we're at it, do you have pictures of the underside of ALL your MegaDrive IIs?

Out of all my MDII`s only my jap one has the shorter metal plate! Currently no pics of the undersides of my consoles.

You got a VA3/VA4 motherboard in your Japanese MegaDrive 2, then! Those are the best MegaDrive 2s ever made.
