I got a smoking deal yesterday...

    Brand New XBOXONE
    Brand New COD-AV
    12 Months XB-LIVE
    Brand New additonal XBOXONE Controller
    Used Kinnect Device

I paid $400 for all of this. Now I know these new systems are a bit underwhelming in terms of a next gen leap but I feel these consoles will have legs and will improve over time. I played through the first level of COD-AV last night and I had fun with it. While I saw a graphical and resolution advancement well above the XBOX 360 the jump wasn't super special like going from 16BIT to 32BIT. The level of detail is HUGE and there are much larger levels to battle through, that was the biggest improvement. For this price I feel it was a no brainer and I REALLY enjoy the Kinnect Voice commands, really changes how you do everything with entertainment. It even Pauses, FF, RWD, steaming video commands off my Fios and has the guide so everything is through the XBOX now. It even finds what ever you want through voice commands plus the gestures are cool. This Generation of Kinnect is a HUGE jump over the original Kinnect, vastly superior in every way.

COD really does make a cool jump over the older variants, I'd say get it even if on XBOX360-PS3 and if you upgrade to a new system before March they let you play the game on the newer systems.

Sin City 2 is already on Blu-ray? I didn't even know they got around to releasing it in theaters. I thought it was still in "coming soon" status.

Sin City 2 bombed in theaters.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

    Some more big box stuff...

Already had MotS and Homeworld, but not the box/inserts. I bought the Fallout and Freespace dual packs back when they came out (and still have them), but for some reason I never got the Shogo/Septerra dual pack until now. And of course I found the big box Septerra just a day or two after I bought that. I already have one of those GC arcade sticks but decided to get a second since people don't go crazy over them like they do other GC accessories.

Nice! I played a ton of Shogo:MAD back in the day.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Nice pickup on that Puyo Puyo PCE CD j_factor, at the time one of the best ports of the game, though the music didn't seem to take advantage of the CD. Sounded very chip tune-ish.

Though the Mega Drive port is good, the PC Engine one seemed to be the one to get. I like the soundtrack, even if it's not a true CD soundtrack. Though, I like the Mega Drive soundtrack too.

The other version I want to get is the Game Gear port. It's dual language, with a full English translation.

If memory serves me correctly, doesn't it also change the games name to something entirely different? Or was that the second game? I believe I've read one of them goes through a name change when played on a US Game Gear.
