A couple N64 carts in good shape,

as well as this PSX/PS2 to Gamecube controller adaptor.

The GC Wavebird is nice and all but sometimes I miss the rumble feature.
Haven't had the chance to test it out yet with my wireless PS2 Logitech controller. Hopefully it will work with this adaptor.

    And,

For a whole $10 I managed to find this,

I see even without the box these are known to fetch a decent amount of $$. So I just might use this to fund some other future purchase.

So there was a bundle of Genesis games that had been languishing on CL for a couple months at this point at a crazy price so I decided to send them an email and try to negotiate. Lo and behold they were happy to wheel and deal and I got all these at a really solid price, not thrift store pricing, but still quite below retail for the entire lot combined.

    2) Hellfire: Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual, Warranty Card
    3) Steel Empire: : Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual
    4) NBA JAM: Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual, Warranty Card, Video Game Blockbuster Promo Poster
    5) Sonic The Hedgehog 2: Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual
    6) Thunder Force III: Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual
    7) Super Baseball 2020: : Cartridge, Case, Instruction Manual, Electronic Art/Get a Clue Promo Poster

You may be kicking yourself in a week or 2 though. The GTX 980 Ti is about to be dropped on the market in the next week or so. I'd imagine that the price of the 980 is going to be dropped down to around $450, or less, when that happens.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

    Various recent pickups.

DS: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Galactic Taz Ball, Kirby Mass Attack, Sonic Colors, WarioWare D.I.Y.

PSP: Half Minute Hero, Phantasy Star Portable, Rock Band Unplugged, WipEout Pulse

Wii: Trackmania, Nitro Bike, Roogoo: Twisted Towers
    Retro City Rampage DX (vita)
Rock & Rule (blu-ray) - includes the rare original/uncensored Canadian version with a different voice actor for the main character

GB: James Bond 007; GG: Batman Returns, NBA Jam, Castle of Illusion, Super Return of the Jedi

The GB James Bond game is a surprisingly good Zelda-ish thing developed by Rare. Super Return of the Jedi for GG is legit the best version of that game IMO. It's weird that Game Gear got Star Wars and Return of the Jedi, but not Empire Strikes Back.

Drakengard (ps2), Extreme G III (gc), Super Bubble Pop (gc), Battle Engine Aquila (xbox), Dr. Muto (xbox)

Dr. Muto was basically the last game developed by the "real" Atari. Weird way to go.

SNES: Breath of Fire II, Kirby's Dream Course, Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss

Note that "Super Tetris 2" has nothing to do with the game released here as Tetris 2, and is basically a version of regular Tetris, and Bombliss is Tetris Blast.

Genesis: Phantom 2040, Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition, Sol Feace CD, Tyco Power Plug accessory

The Power Plug is a bit of an odd one. I couldn't find much information about how it actually works, but it goes in between the console and controller, and offers various control changes.

3DO Flightstick Pro, Shock Wave: Operation Jumpgate
Time Commando (psx), The X-Files (psx), Tonic Trouble (n64)

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

It's all good. The video card purchasing experience is a no win situation. There is always a bigger fish around the corner. I actually spent around $450 for mine due to the free Witcher 3 promo and $20 rebate.

    These recently arrived:

The Wii U games I got on amazon for about $5-$15 a piece, the soundtracks were a bit more.

A local Nintendo collector was downsizing his collection and was selling some of his Wii related items.
These were priced to go. I'm not known to pass on a good deal, especially when there is no shipping cost to factor in the equation. So I nabbed a few of those Wii items.

I still need to go and pick up a bunch of games (he's taking them out of storage) but this is most of what I've gotten from him up to this point,

That SMG2 game came with a cardboard slip cover and a kind of tutorial type DVD.

A bit of a hardware money shot,

That white Wii console in the pic above is my original NTSC US system from back in the day.
When I was setting everything up I found I still had the original invoice/slip from when a mate of mine brought it over for me from the States.

Can't believe over eight years have already passed since that time.

    Good luck! lol

I got it from a guy off of a local AV forum.
He was getting rid of some GameCube related stuff and this was amongst the other items he was selling.
He seemed oblivious to this things value, and I wasn't about to enlighten him on the subject.

Yeah this GC component is great for the added benefit wrt to the enhanced visuals you get out of the GameBoy Player.
I would say for those GameCube games that support it as well, but you also can get that via the Wii. Although I have read and seen a few image comparisons of folks saying that the Component out of a GC is slightly superior to that of the Wii with regard to GameCube games.

Over this past weekend took the kids for a trip to their grandparents and whilst in that area paid a visit to a few flea market stalls.

Was surprised to find a few very nice oXbox related items. They looked in great shape and were quite cheap so I picked up a fair few of them.

I guess a few years too late in terms of Xbox Live functionality with regard to this Wireless Adapter.

Skipped over most of the games on offer but right in the corner on a separate table my eye caught these collector ed's.

And this being South Africa it's almost obligatory that I'd find some fakes/pirated stuff as well.

Not that I condone piracy but I guess as a one-off for shits & giggles, picked these up. All for a little over $10 total. They work fine on one of my modded oXbox's.

Spelled properly on the disc, but on the box they kinda forgot one of the o's in Dragoon.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Its a cool jersey but what "vintage" do you mean? It is obviously a modern jersey.
