I see one went for $245. That's just nuts.

Locally I can get four brand new NES Classics at this very moment if I wanted to. I just have no reason to. Unless, I guess, I justify it by preventing a possible scalper getting his/her hands on them. If I do pull the trigger though I may be preventing legit buyers who may be wanting them.

Anyways, back on the main topic,

A few pick ups from a garage sale. All for the equivalent of about $45 (600 ZAR)

Atari XEGS Keyboard. Looks unused, still in its plastic wrapper.

Those top two VTech Socrates Edutainment carts were thrown in for free.

Famiclone in PC Tower style casing. Works via power adapter or batteries.

    Genesis/SNES pad,

A few Mega Drives. The one in the box looks mint. I'll offload the other two.

A portable charger for the Vita and a PSP GO.

I picked up these Ninty games on the cheap at a clearance sale,

Up until what point did that haul stop being from a garage sale? If $45 got you everything up to and including the PSP, money goes a crazy long ways by you, haha.

Recently got Street Fighter II, Ecco, Aladdin, Lion King, and Mortal Kombat II all for the Genesis with their cases for $25. It's in the mail still though. Also just got a Blue Game Gear with 6 games for it from the same place. I'm not the biggest GG fan, but hopefully the flare and style of Sega Sport's Blue will change my mind.

Found out today that a Sega CD Model 1 I bought for last week sold as is/for parts (with a new laser and belt for the disc drive, all courtesy of the seller) seems to be in perfect working order. The whole thing was $67 shipped. I feel kinda bad as the seller must have been unaware, but I've tested it a few times now and nothings gone wrong yet... though it is missing the "Lock" switch that goes on the side, and I'm not sure where I'll get a replacement. Still, can't complain!

And got a Sega Pico edutainment system with Tail's Music Maker, Magic Crayon, and a Richard Scary game for 30 bucks. Heard the leader-boards for the first two are crazy right now.

My favorite wasn't really for a cheap find or anything, but I finally bought Shenmu with all 4 discs, a game that I've strangely never played. Missing the passport book, but I'm not too bothered, I'm well beyond super looking forward to it; saving it to play through with my girlfriend this fall.

And to finish it off, I got a nice flier by Sega of America pitching a Sonic-themed coin game. It's very Sega of America.

That should be it for a while, gotta save up for some summer classes.

My retro videogames have dried up, at the flea market this year its the same people with the same games as last year so far, and with me having mostly all the genesis games I want save a few, I'm ok with that though I will always look when I come across it.
Instead I've moved onto getting into records again Got the Audio Technica AT-LP60 a few weeks ago and have had fun getting records, especially for mostly 2 bucks or less.

Locally at retail or scalper prices? I'd seriously pay you for one if you could get it at retail with S&H. Hell, I'll even throw in a free ban for whoever you wanted to sweeten the pot. *wink wink nudge nudge

Good deal! Any 7800 controllers included or the AC adapter?

    No ...

I'm selling off the rest of the stuff in the lot so I can afford to piece together all the necessary components.

...you don't have an extra 7800 power adapter, do you?

Edit: I'm also starting to beef up my famicom collection. Most recently with Cocoron.

I didn't really want one but I had one chance that ended in a flash. I was at Walmart and happened to spot just one sitting there on the shelf. The second it registered I hear some guy behind me instructing the employee to get it for him and it was gone. IDK if he was a scalper, but yeah they're ruining everything that has a remotely limited appeal these days. Don't people have fucking jobs? Why the hell do people do this.

Because people are assholes, plain and simple. Whatever thing you love, be it video games, cars, toys, or stamps, there's always going to be a group of douchebags who want to erect a giant money wall in front of it.

    😑

But who isn't an asshole is this eBay seller from whom I got these famicom games for less than $5 each.[/URL]

A guy was clearing out his gaming stuff on one of our local gaming forums and was letting this launch 360 go for $30.

Only thing I did was just swap out with an old Forza faceplate I had lying around.

This old 360 is almost like factory mint. Not a mark on it. Hardly ever played.

There's one game listed under that guys profile. He didn't bother wiping that profile out.

Remember the old "Blade" Dashboard? Yep, this one is still running that old original firmware.

And I managed to track down a front loader Neo Geo.
I already own the other two CD console versions, so I guess you can say this completes the set.
