    Also see any Far Cry game, the upcoming Haze, Halo, the Unreal games, and so on. Not all FPS games are brown and grey.

    I never liked Far Cry. Unreal 1 and 2 where rather brown.

    Unreal 2 wasn't that bad - I only played it on the PC, other than the fact your character walks too fucking slow.

    I have noticed some of the newer fps games are gearing away from grey and brown and towards color, but it feels exactly like I'm watching a really bad movie in B&W, and then watching a colorized version of the same really bad movie.
