I beat Resident Evil 1 - Jill's game in 2 hours. It rocked

I beat Forgotten Worlds. All i needed was a good strategy on my buying choices at the shops that pop up in the middle of the stages. Nice game, a little bit more detailed backround graphics and better gameplay wouldn't have hurt though.

I just beat Heavy Nova on the Mega CD, no lives lost, on the HARD setting.

Awesome, awesome game. The action was well-paced and fun, and the visuals were just jaw-dropping gorgeous. I did have some issues with the cover system and the enemies that could take multiple hits from a shotgun point blank without dying, but everything else was just incredible. It out Tomb Raidered Tomb Tomb Raider, imo. The final boss battle was total ass though. Lame trial and error bullshit QTE = lame.

I will be going back for all the trophies though! Trophy whore ahoy!

- Vectorman 2. Similar to the first one, but i liked it.

- Snow Bros. Much in the Bubble-Bobble style, very entertaining though, especially on 2-player mode.

Adventures of Batman and Robin: used to be unable to complete the first stage, Now I found myself at the second boss fight.

1942: Joint Strike (PSN)

Not exactly my kind of shmup, but its gorgeous and I really hope more shmups get put out there on PSN and Xbox marketplace as they can do some really interesting things with the genre this generation if they do it right.

Kinda mad with their score system though as it didn't register my top 100 score on the leaderboards at all. I guess that just means I have to do better next time, huh?

I beat Silpheed for the Sega CD (1CC).

I liked it, despite the lack of a good color palette and the weird way collision detection is implemented - you have to get used to it in order to enjoy the game.

It still bugs me that Reese is alive at the end of the game.
I've a strong feeling this means I'm several different hues of nerd.

Finally got some action on my TurboDuo. I beat Super Darius (CD) and Deep Blue.

Now that I come to think about it, it was only now that I realized that in both games I fight... fish!

Today I beat my first bullet-hell shooter with only 1 credit on default settings: Mars Matrix for the DC!

Two hours after this post was made, it was leaked to the Terminator fan-circles. Their anger at this blatant attempt to give the game a happy ending started a mass riot. Reports are coming in that a lynch mob is marching on Sega HQ to appose this atrocity and punish the makers of the game:

it has been so long when I last beat a game...

Yesterday night it happened again, I beat Dangerous Seed, on my Nomad... one stage was near impossible as the bullets were hard to see and I had managed to get a bit too many speed power ups... Game number 231 :3
