I wasn't complaining. I think it's cool that some of the old locales and bosses make it into the game.
They should have aborted Gradius Afterbirth. Looks like the same old Gradius but with some SNES-caliber colors.
Looks as if Nintendo added some more pics of Gradius Rebirth: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/wiiware/wgdj/index.html. Looking good! Hope we get a worldwide release around the same time as Japan (which is Sept 2).

Looking much forward.
It would be best on the Sega Saturn, no doubt.
There Can Only Be One
He Will Rise Again (Once I've Located The Original Signatures)
I'd rather have it on the 16-Bit Sega Genesis Video Game Entertainment System.
Or the PS3.
TFVI reviewed in Japan:
Thunder Force VI (PS2, Sega): 7, 7, 6, 6 - (26/40)
.........Ouch???
Is that a bad rating for an oldschool shoot em up? I donīt know, but I could imagine a game like this would always have problems getting more than 20 points these days....but I could be wrong.
Supposedly, Famitsu's four reviewers had problems with the bullets blending in with the backgrounds. Other than that, it sounds like a solid, old school shooter.
Is this available now?
Fo' sho'. (well give it a week or so)
As for Gradius Rebirth, it's more of a remix/remake than a new game, as it's made up of slightly altered versions of levels from the classic games. Still hasn't been released outside of Japan so it hardly matters.
Man, I've got a massive game-boner for TFVI (oh, and Resistance 2 for the PS3 also)... This Thursday/Friday TFVI will be mine.
