I read some shit about Golden Axe II being "an uninspired Genesis sequel" to Golden Axe.
I like Popeye 2 for the original gameboy, even though everyone hates it, as well as Greendog: The beached surfer dude, and DJ boy.
Greendog is awesome.
Even if you don't like the way it plays, everybody's gotta agree the visuals are just stunning.
*BUMP*
I've seen mixed reactions for Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (PC/DS), but I like the game for it's RPG elements. And as a bonus, it's the way RPG's were meant to be played: create an avatar and take on quests. You do have companions, but you don't control them; they just help when fighting certain enemies (Syrus reduces an undead enemie's health to half at the start of a fight, the dwarf does same with mechanical enemies such as the citadel). One reaction I heard about the game was my friend saying it was stupid as he gave it to me (traded Sonic Rush for it; grew tired of Sonic Rush cause I beat it for the 50th time and aced my Time Trials). I'll look online for good reviews of PQ:CotW.

I know I'm gonna take a lot of flack for saying this, but...
*sigh*
I actually like Super Thunder Blade. It's not all that good, but at the same time I don't think it's all that bad. Certainly could've been a lot better though.
Rise of the robots, because has an excellent soundtrack (by Brian May) and Streets of Rage 3 also. Almost everybody hates SoR3 soundtrack but I love it....
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice...
