In chapter 4, just defeated two demons and got Wuiijijijng back.
Now what?
Thanks for the help on that last post, BTW. Really appreciated.
I have a few questions:
1 - Start of Chapter 6. There is a town, a Demon Valley (actually not a valley, but a cave, the game was mistranslated or simply poorly worded) and a cave with a boulder in front of it. The villagers are useless, there is nothing but treasure chests in the Demon Cave, cannot get into the boulder cave, villagers offer no clues on what to do. There is nothing else anywhere. Am I supposed to randomly guess what I need to do? Now what?
2 - Why do some of the houses have the same exact text as other houses, even within the same village?
3 - Why is there an old SD character in each village who says the same exact thing?
4 - Does anyone ever use the gambling houses? I have never bothered, always had way more than enough $$$.
5 - BUG REPORT: Magic spells that supposedly damage all enemies certainly does not. Although it appears that all 3 enemies (each being identical) take the same amount of damage, the middle one always disappears first and the other two require just as many attacks to dispense as they would have if they were not damaged at all.
6 - What level do I need to be at to beat this game? I am currently at level 47 and the enemies in Demon Cave still take little damage as well as deal tons of it.
As equally appreciated as your sarcasm, no doubt.
Since I haven't played through Legend of Wukong in a while, my memory is a bit sketchy. I figured someone else might answer your question since I couldn't remember the answer myself, but decided to start a new game and play through to chapter 4 just in case no one did. However my schedule has not permitted enough time to get any further than chapter 2, thus the lack of any response to your question.
Sure, there is. It's just a bitch to get to. Southeast corner of the map; you'll need to do some tricky walking to wiggle through the slim passageway.
Some text pointers target the same lines of text.
Inside the temple, you mean? The monk provides a "blessing" - no more, no less.
The top level each character can reach is 50. The enemies are meant to pose a challenge, all the way up until the end.

That's OK, I don't even remember that part, either. I mean I remember rescuing the princess, but after that, I don't recall what I did.I figured someone else might answer your question
--Southeast corner, gotcha. I will give it my best.
Good to know. The top level each character can reach is 50.
Well, the game was never super-easy or anything, but once I got to Chapter 6, they really "amped dat shit up".The enemies are meant to pose a challenge, all the way up until the end.
Nope. There is nothing in the Valley of Demons. Nothing but treasure chests. I have been all over the place, taken every possible corridor I can see, still nothing. Nothing at all. Nada. Did I mention there is nothing there? Because there isn't.
Maybe if I removed the 32X...
I should have been more specific. Demon Valley will need to be visited a bit later, but for now...
Walk along the southeast portion of the overworld map until you come to a narrow point which seems impassable. Wiggling about a bit, Wukong and his buddies will be able to continue down the map and to a new spot: Fairy Spring.

Well at least I won't have to worry about grinding later after that.
Finally beat it.
By the way, you misspelled "ridiculous" in the game. You spelled it as "rediculous", which in itself is ridiculous.

I think maybe 3 or 4 rounds. I found I could run away from all battles in the previous areas/caves once everyone was at level 50, but not in the final cave. I was like "FUUUUUUUUU!!!" Oh well. It also seemed that MEGA HEAL only worked on enemies if they applied it before being attacked, or perhaps it just didn't work as well on bosses. Not sure. I beat the spiders quickly and they were Mega Healing every turn, recovering more than I took.
That was the only word I found misspelled, to be fair.
I also started to run away when I maxed out the levels (I did the same in Sword of Vermilion, the most underrated mediocre action-RPG EVAR) And yeah, the bosses used a lot of healing, it sometimes felt like I was the boss.
There was one other typo, but that was on the box - "Megadrive" instead of "Mega Drive". I hope you fix it for the next game, Brandon.

I agree that Sword of Vermilion is the best mediocre RPG out there.
do you guys at super fighter team have the skills to do a game like Alien Soldier or Adventures of Batman and Robin. THAT is a game I would buy. I'm not much into RPG stuff. I wonder how much it would cost to hire Jesper Kyd to do some music. Maybe he would do it for free because he likes it![]()

I doubt Jesper Kyd works for free. I would be surprised if he still had the tools to create audio for the system.
