On Dreamcast? No. The system is relatively easy to mod, but I'm allergic to modding, so I use a boot disc. Dreamcast boot discs are very common and available under many different names. You can even make a boot disc by downloading an ISO and burning it to a CD-R, although that will put a bit of strain on the laser. My boot disc of choice is the DC-X.

I use the Utopia boot disc. The iso is easy to find.

I used the Utopia disc originally, but it always sounded like my Dreamcast was struggling. The DC-X seems less of a strain. I think it's printed in some special way -- if you look at the data side of the disc, it looks really weird.

Why play Turtles in Time on the SNES when you can play the same game on Megadrive? I think it was called the TMNT: Manhattan Project

No, it was called "Hyperstone Heist" and Konami did a half-assed job with it.

Why play the half-assed effort when I can play the real thing on SNES?

Yah, I think the Utopia disc fried one of my dreamcast's laser. I have a pirate disc with zero gunner2, ikaruga and a couple other shooters combined, it seems like it kinda strains my system but dammit its worth it.
