    Default Cleaning my SNES's Motherboard.

I bought it, dirty as hell, brown when I got it instead of purple. Blah Blah. Is there anything should be wary of while doing maintnence.

IF YOU TAKE IT APART TURN THE CONSOLE ON AND OFF FIRST TO DISPERSE EXTRA CHARGE OTHERWISE YOU WILL BLOW A FUSE.

I dunno, I've repaired dozens of consoles and I've never had a problem blowing a fuse and I've never turned it off and on while unplugged. I guess just let it sit for a little while between unplugging it and cleaning it so you don't have to worry about charge from the capacitors.

Make sure you don't drop it on the carpet. Oh and I guess you can touch a metal grounding point to discharge static electricity from your body.
