    Default Great Classic Multiplayer Games.

I decided to make this thread because last night me and my friend beat Super C last night, and It got me thinking. To beat a game like Super C with a friend, you need two people who are willing to work together very, very intelligently. Like go and play Super C or any game like Battle Toads or TMNT 2 Arcade, If you go into a later level guns ablaze and you both go around screwing around, you won't last long. In this thread I wanted to let everyone else express anecdotes from old games and list some old games like this.

So, last night, I had gotten my 3 year old nephew a system for $10 at a flea market thats chock full of pirated NES roms last week and one ROM so happened to be Super C (Contra). So my friend and I started playing and screwing around, we died every or so feet. Then my friend and I started working together and we used our number and intelligence over the enemy attack patterns, and we beat all of the levels, start to finish. I'm glad I was recording audio and had a spare blank tape. If you start playing with a fre=iend wisely, you start to notice all the hilarious things that the enemys are. Like in Super C, theres a level that has a mountain you both half to jump up, and if one of you gets too far ahead and one of you gets to touch the bottom of the screen, the one at the bottom dies. So My friend did that to me and I lost my last life, so I was out of the game, I had to watch him fight Jet Pack Nazi look alikes, giant purple fleshy marbles, and Captain planet look alikes, with a straight face. When you get done with a game like this with a buddy, you feel an incredible sense of satisfaction. This was no exception, like at the end of the credit roll ( not a spoiler ) getting to see your helicopter glide into the sunset.
