    Default X'Eye "door open" problem

On my X'eye, the Sega CD part won't work because it seems to think the door is open and therefore won't initialize the reading of discs, even though the door is clearly closed. Is there a fix to this?

There's a small switch in the unit, which is dead... you need to get something else there.

Lower the door, little by little and keep trying and lowering the door. Sometimes when the switchs are broken they work with the door almost closed, with a magazine on top of the door.

It's fixed. I just opened it up and used some electrical tape to hold the pin switch down. This works great as a solution--the switch isn't broken, but apparently it's mis
    aliagned.
