Mainly I would like to have more RPGs and questy/adventure games(Zelda, Metroid, etc).

In particular, a sequel to Phantasy Star that actually felt like part of the same series.

Sequels to Miracle Warriors and Golvelius would be cool. I'd also like a real Wonderboy-style Wonderboy game for Genesis.

Any traditional style Ys game would've been nice, whether it was the canned Ys IV or even just Ys I & II.

One of the biggest disappointments is that Sega never made another decent Alex Kidd game.

Ninja Gaiden (The genesis was made for ninjas), I know there was that arcade port, but from what I hear it was crap. I would have preferred a game like the nes versions. Also the games, Guardian Legend and Metal Gear would have been good on the genesis.

U.N. Squadron. That game would have rocked without the dann SNES slowdown. Stupid Nintendo with their gimped processor!

Pretty much any other SNES shooter, too. The SNES sucks at shooters.

Axelay would have been so much better on Genesis.
Just imagine that soundtrack through the YM2612.

An original Bonk and an original Adventure Island. Both of these series were on the Turbo and SNES, but Hudson didn't like Sega for some reason.

Sega's own Alien Syndrome and Quartet would have been nice. They're on Master System, but the SMS just can't do these games justice.

There are lots of Amiga ports I would like to have seen. Beneath a Steel Sky, Agony, Obitus, Switchblade, Alien Breed, Cannon Fodder 2, Apidya, Universe, Oh No! More Lemmings, Atomino, Shadow of the Beast 3, Rick Dangerous, Benefactor, Awesome, Ork, Darkmere, Hired Guns, Leander, and Superfrog to name a few.

Gradius III would have been nice on Genesis. The SNES version is pretty much ruined by slowdown IMO, but it's otherwise a great game.

What me and my brother missed most were Star Wars games on the Mega Drive / Genesis. I would have liked those. Not versions of the SNES games though, I didn't like those as all. Liked the NES/SMS versions though. Would have been great if Sega had their own versions like they did with (for example) Jurassic Park. Missed a nice DuckTales game too, though QuackShot made up for that mostly.

-Hagane, a decent ninja-type game for the SNES
-Conversions of the Simpsons and the TMNT arcade titles
-Black Hawk, true it saw a 32x port, but not everyone had one
-Chrono Trigger, the only JPRG on the SNES that interested me, I'm still holding out for the DS port though!
-Doom, sure it was impossible technically, but there was a simplistic port for the SNES thanks to its array of on-cart DSP chips
-Final Fight, why limit the conversion to the MegaCD when the Megadrive could have done it just as easily? Oh yea, Capcom..
-Super Turrican 2, a shoot 'em up platformer that I really wanted, but would have probably been disappointed with thanks to lack of Mode7.. And Cybernator, and Front Mission: Gun Hazard
-Any decent SNK fighter port, since none of them ever felt 'meaty' enough
-A conversion of Midway's NHL Open Ice 2 on 2 Challenge
-Street Fighter Alpha, again impractical due to lack of feasible DSP support
-Super Star Wars, not big on the SW license, but the SSW series seemed like nice platformers
-The Firemen, because CVG fired up me for this one back in the day.

I think Obitus was released as Risky Woods, and Leander was released as Young Galahad.

hyperstone heist had a few levels from TMNT: The Arcade Game. Also, there was a Genesis McDonald's game, though it wasn't quite the same as McKids.

Yeah, it was . . . Mick and Mack something. Kind of a sequel, and probably not as good.

Hyperstone Heist was pretty much Konami's apology to Genesis owners for not giving them the ACTUAL arcade game or Turtles in Time. I still like it, but it's just not the same...

Well I just looked it up and it does look like Leander and Galahad were the same game. Interesting. But Obitus isn't Risky Woods; Risky Woods was also called Draxos.
