Dodonpachi is coming apparantly - and a little bird tells me that Treasure are umming and aahhhing about putting Radiant Silvergun on there after Microsoft showed some interest in it

Treasure also appeared to think Radiant Silvergun was too much work and was not interested in doing it from the context of those words as well. Considering the Saturn/Titan architecture and the length of the game, I have to believe it'd make for a much more difficult thing to port than the Windows friendly Dreamcast/Naomi Ikaruga was. I'd love to see it, but I'd much rather an enhanced Guardian Heroes myself.

Wow - I was the last person to post - 3 years ago! Seems those games ended up coming out, eh! On the subject of the 360, I must say the new dashboard (winter 2011) if really pissing me off as it seems to have slowed my console to a crawl. Anybody else experienced this?

Its just the whole thing in general. It took nearly 15 minutes to get into my achievement list the other day. Although I suspect having a game history of 600+ titles doesn't help...

I haven't had any of the problems with the new dashboard myself. Netflix works, I get my achievements, everything loads fine. Guess it works good for some and not for others.

Also, if anyone wants to play some games, they can add me if they like: BalooDP. Though I really only have Madden '12 and a couple of XBLA titles, and you should tell me you're from Sega-16 if you add me, hahaha.

I tried Hulu Plus on the 360 last night while my HTPC was occupied rendering a video (no internet usage). We couldn't watch the first five minutes of a Battestar Galactica episide because it kept pausing and loading.

They've changed it to make it 'kinect-friendly'. Things like this really annoy me about Microsoft - it's like they are constantly ramming kinect down our throats. What makes me laugh though, is the fact that I guessing most 360 owners are gamers; and as such 99.9% of them will never use the kinect dashboard functionality as using the controller is much more convenient.

Also - being a games system, why the hell are 'TV' and 'movies' before the 'games' section on the dashboard? I know it's not that big a deal, but for some reason this really, really annoys me...

In fact, browsing has become a lot faster, no more waiting an eternity when you want to switch games!

I must be unlucky then, as my 360 definitely takes much longer to do just about everything since the new dashboard. For example - I've just exited Dodonpachi before and it took a whole 2 minutes for the dashboard to come up. On the old dashboard it would take about 10 secs, max...

I'm not too keen on the new dashboard, but it's ok, I guess. The Quick Play feature is a godsend, Youtube is a nice distraction, everything else means nothing to me. I really wish they kept the original, launch dashboard - that was the best.

I couldn't find anything I wanted to on the new Dashboard at first, but the same thing happened with NXE. I just don't like companies moving my stuff all around. I am also not seeing any slowdown in the new menus and my 360 is from 2005, but been fixed three times by MS.

I really don't care for the new Netflix. I see no reason why they removed the episode list from being displayed when you select a TV show and made it jump to the next episode yet to be watched. Yeah, it's convenient to immediately start the next episode, but what if I don't want to watch that episode? I have to bring up the Info pane and select the More Episodes button and get to it that way. It's a minor gripe really as it could've been much worse; and guess what? It is! There is now no option to stretch the image to fill widescreen displays. It wouldn't piss me off so much if it wasn't for the fact that that feature was included when Netflix first came to Xbox and has been used by me since Day 1. Another example of moving backwards I suppose.
