There's a PSP version called Resurrection.
I've played the demo. It's not half as fun as the regular. Totally different gameplay. It's not on rails, it's more static.

Solution: Buy Out Run for Saturn.
You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
But the Saturn version doesn't allow me to win the heart of busty blond women via my incredible Ferrari driving skills!
Outrun 2 includes the original game plus those extra tracks.
Coast 2 Coast includes remixed "Turbo Outrun" tracks which warms my heart. Add in the ability to play my own tracks if I want to (Bingo Bango by Basement Jaxx).
Saturn game+both Xbox games = Triumvirate of Jawusum.
Oh, I was referring to the soundtrack thing. I meant, buy Out Run for Saturn, in conjunction with Coast 2 Coast for Xbox. That way you can upload the Saturn version tunes to your Xbox hard drive and play Coast 2 Coast with the Saturn version's music.
The best use of the Xbox's custom soundtrack feature is to rip redbook audio tracks from Sega Saturn game discs.

I just installed a 320GB hard drive in my softmodded XBox, and am using it in conjunction with a 240d retention Usenet subscription. The result is essentially any Xbox game I want, plus full romsets for any major system before Dreamcast.
That's how you make an Xbox worthwhile.
I want a modded Xbox just so I can play Shin Megami Tensei NINE and Metal Wolf Chaos.
Jade Empire is highly praised, though I've never opened my copy.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is a blast and I'm pretty sure people are still playing the game online.
Outrun 2 is great, but I really can't recommend Coast to Coast, since it's nothing more than a port of the inferior PS2 version. I'd much rather play Outrun 2.
You have something wrong, there. Coast 2 Coast isn't a 'port' of anything, it's simply a home version of OutRun2SP - each version was designed separately - the PS2 version links in with the PSP version to unlock cars that are already in the XBOX game to start with, for example. The arcade version of OutRun2SP has the entirely new track in addition to the OutRun2 track, plus a tweaked difficulty level, slipstreaming, redesigned HUD etc.
Coast 2 Coast is, well, OutRun2, only SP
(the PSP version is surprisingly good)

just N64, I don't think any platform has a decent Saturn emulator. N64 is hit and miss, games like Bust a Move are totally playable, as are less demanding games like Mario 64 and Road Rash 64. Some games, like Goldeneye, work using the Ultra HLE option, but is incredibly slow if you choose 1964 or Project 64. Its very hit and miss, but there is a good bit of games that are totally playable if you can look past some graphical glitches and occasional hang ups/framerate drops.
I've owned both Xbox versions of Outrun, and Outrun 2006:Coast to Coast looks horrible in comparison to the Xbox enhanced Outrun 2.
Coast to Coast has flat grey pavement, in comparison to Outrun 2's multi-textured pavement. The car models have jaggy edges, like that of the PS2 version. And the backgrounds have grainy textures, compared to those seen in the Xbox enhanced Outrun 2.
I've compared the two games, side by side, and Outrun 2 just looks so much better than Coast to Coast. Beyond Progressive scan in the Xbox version, I doubt there is much of a difference (graphics) between C2C on the PS2 and Xbox.

Out Run 2 was ported just to Xbox, whereas Coast 2 Coast was created for PS2/PSP/Xbox all at once via middleware. That's why Out Run 2 looks so much better.

Well, I might give it a shot if I come across it on the cheap. For now, its emulation city! I really just hope nothing ever screws up my XBOX, I mean, I can buy another, but I want to know soft mods don't have some fatal flaw in them that manifests itself over time or something [/paranoid delusions].
There could be, but really I think your just being paranoid. If Mexico or its crappy power grid didn't affect my Xbox then I'm pretty sure its impervious to everything. Anyone doing this in the future though could always buy a used system from a GameStop, buy the extended 1 year warranty for $10 and thrash the hell out of it. If somehow the soft mod breaks the Xbox just break it a little more so it won't power on, then get it replaced.
