    Default Problems with the terminator

I have terminator for mega cd here (us game, pal mcd). I use the megacart to boot it. It starts fine but hangs up a few seconds after starting the first level. Music keeps playing. I also converted it to pal with scdconv, same problem. The game runs perfect on an emulator.

I know that The Terminator dosen't work on a CDX/Multi-Mega. Could that mean that it dosen't work with a Megacart too?

The converted PAL Version runs without Megacart, but same problem with freezes. This version works also flawless on an emulator.

This is a myth...I've had both a CDX and an X'eye and the Terminator worked flawlessly on both systems...

As I said, some games can be finicky on some systems. I have it burned, and it ran great on my Model 2 and I think Model 1.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

it works perfectly on my model 2, and I've played almost the entire game (died on like the last level and said "fuck it"). It never even missed a beat with my gear grinding previous drive.

Not a total myth. I guess it works on some and not on others since it doesn't work on my CDX and does on my x'eye.

Some drives are more tempermental than others, varying from machine to machine (not just model to model), some will be much more tolerant of flaws in the disc, others will not.
