what is best for making PSX ISOs?

remember, its legal to make backup copies, especially if you make them yourself rather than download them, and I want to convert my actual games to ISO so I can make EBOOTS for my PSP out of them. What is the best/easiest program do make an ISO with? I would prefer something either free or something available in "trial" form, but can still make a PSX ISO with no time limitations (15 day bullshit). I would also be OK pirating said software, but, again, something fairly easy to do so because I already tried to crack one and it didn't work (magic iso or somethin like that, didn't know WTF to do with the .reg file).

I've used an unregistered version of Magic ISO to rip some of my games for friends in the past, and haven't had any problems.

I've been using UltraISO for a few years now without any problems. There is a pay version, but the free trial isn't crippled in any appreciable way. Dunno about the latest trial version, though.

Last night I used MagicISO to rip Descent PS1 game, and seemed to be no problem!

I think the older free version has no limit. I tried to install it again after the trial ran out and it now has a 300mb limit. It is a shame because it is simple and works well. It is a classic case of "If it works fix it till it's broke"

well in that case, what version of magic ISO are you guys using? I'll see if I can snag the older trial off of a torrent or something.

Also, does that SCUS#### stuff automatically associate itself with the ISO or do people do that after uploading it? I notice when I go to make an EBOOT it always automatically fills in all of the info like SCUS/SLUS code and name of the game.
