Default Should I get this Master System?

There's a guy on Craigslist who's selling a Master System, he's asking 50$ for it, it comes with the Phaser, a controller, the box and instructions, and Hang On/ Safari hunt. Is this a good deal? Or should I hit up ebay and get a lot with a bunch of games?

If the console is boxed and complete and in excellent/mint condition, then its a nice enough price, complete sms console sets are getting good money these days. If you're not bothered about getting the system boxed, then get yourself on ebay where your money can buy you a lot more.

And retitled as Black Belt in the US (you can't play the Japanese version on a US sms console)

That is a bad deal, you can get them cheaper than this.

Why not just get a Converter instead?

And there are more, and better, games than Black Belt on it... Hang-on is also really bad, I thought.

I payed $25 for the system, phaser, two controllers, and five games. I cant remember what they are, but i know three of them are Hang On, Safari Hunt and Choplifter.

I think I'll go get one on ebay reading some of the feedback in this thread, the reason why I'm not interested in getting a converter is because I have a Model 2 genesis, and to get the Tototek adapter it would cost 30$ plus shipping and handling, and to get the Power Base Converter and the model 1 Genesis it would cost me about 40-50$ with no games or Master System controllers (at least that's the way it is where I live).
