Default Wow! Chakan is much better than I remembered.

I had this game as a kid and was only able to beat a few stages (not entire worlds) and liked it but got bored because of difficulty. Now I got it again so I could give it a fair try and a day after I started playing it I got to the elemental plane stages and beat the first stage of each world, I recently found out that there is a way to skip directly to the elemental plane from the start which is huge since this game is so long.

I love the music and the deep game play, a review is coming soon but I am going to take this one slowly just to enjoy it. I just wanted to start a thread for this game so you guys would discuss it and give opinions.

Also who's finished this game? Anyone done it on hard to see the real ending too?

Does it have a different ending on HARD?
I remember beating it on NORMAL.

    This game is awesome BTW.

From what I've heard it has a bit different ending on hard, I could be wrong though.

I liked the games story and atmosphere but the platforming always seemed kind of clunky to me.

Do you only fight this extra boss in hard mode?
I never really played much Chakan.

    Quoted from Wikipedia.
Upon defeating this second set of levels, Chakan is treated to an ending in which his curse is not lifted.
After the credits roll for some time, he is allowed to fight an extremely difficult enemy boss
(consisting of a H.R. Giger looking creature on a throne carried by what appear to be midgets).
The player only gets one try. Doing this without the aid of an emulator with the ability to save and load
    game states is virtually impossible.

If the player succeeds at this task, they receive the "real ending" which was unfortunately not implemented
by the game developers. It consists of the hourglass background used in the plot exposition screens but
    without any text.

hahaha oh man they didn't even add the real ending, thats so lame.

Well, if you want to check out the complete Chakan ending including the Final Fight, you can check it out here if you want:

Though I agree that if you win the Final Fight, it seems somewhat... anticlimatic.
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
