    Well, there you go.

And yeah, she's with you every step of the way. But to be fair, her AI is actually pretty competent, for the most part.

damn what a piece of shit this is the worst in the series i really liked part 4 and find that one the best along with part 1
but this that goddamn woman following and swallow up all my ammo and getting killed al the time it s that i play it with to players my brother and me but no even some of the levels are no fun like the swamp on your hovercraft then the riding what for
the aztec underground level is to long and boring the same puzzles all over and to much of the same enemies over and over
only fun thing is the mercenaries but when you collected everything and have every character unlocked then it s collecting dust on your shelf bought it for 20 euro s and sold it immedetley after playing out for 45 euro s thats the good part of the game
    earning something from it

    only good for a rental

Definitely the weakest in the series, I beat the game on Professional an hour ago, they can't even get a very hard difficulty setting correct, someone should of told them that just b/c its the hardest doesn't mean it needs to be cheap.

What really gets me is the devs involved with the game and their lack of knowledge. There have been shooters since RE4. The over the shoulder aspect has improved upon, by letting you walk and shoot. A few months ago Dead Space came out and let you do this and it still felt tense, hell even Silent Hill on the PSX let you walk and shoot, and it was still an extremely tense experience. So I'm not quite sure why Capcom stuck with that excuse that "We just want to make the game to feel tense and not like and action title." They should have just said, "We enjoy crippling a game and not improving on anything." Not to mention the end of the game has no horror elements at all it just looks like your going through levels that were rejected by other action games.

The graphics are nice and the music has an epic tone to it at times, but it doesn't match up with the bad dialog.

At times the partner AI is competent, but there are times where I swear shes brain dead.

I actually thought the dialog and voice acting was better than the other games

I've played through the game 3 times now and here are my thoughts...
    +++
    - First and foremost - it looks awesome
    - Across Xbox live in co-op it works quite well
    - Loads of unlockables and extra modes - keeps up the replay value..
    - Nice selection of weapons
    - Sheva's AI is farly competant, but...
    - - -
    - Sheva, given the choice, only ever uses the pistol. This is a major ball-ache during bosses.
    - Stop putting fucking QTE's in games please they are bollocks.
    - I don't think the difficulty is quite right. Some parts of the game are incredibly frustrating whereas other parts late on are easy. Also, once you fully upgrade the weapons and unlock the unlimited ammo for each the game becomes ridiculously easy. First time through on normal took me around 9 hours, whereas second time on veteran, with the machine gun fully upgraded, took just over 4. Now obviously, you don't have to use the infinite ammo, but since a)ammo for the good weapons is scarcer than hens teeth, b)you can't buy any ammo from the store, c)the enemies on hard difficulties require killing and need silly amounts of bullets to take down and d) there are no penalties for using infinite ammo; obviously you are gonna use it.
    - Seriously - why can't you move and shoot?
    - Personally I think that finishing the game on professional with the AI is probably impossible - which is fine if you have a like-minded friend who is pretty good at the game, but what about solo players?
    - In fact the whole story mode seems to suffer as a single player experience to compensate for making it co-op compatible. This should not happen

Yeah I suppose I enjoyed it but I'd say co-opping is a must if you want to get anywhere in it

I practically did it, I had help on one chapter. There were two instances where having a co-op partner would be really beneficial. Chapter 5-3 obviously, fighting the two bosses can get a little hairy when your partner won't stop following you even if that means getting so close to one of the bosses, shes practically buffering around him trying to get through a doorway you got kicked through. Chapter 4-2 (I think) This was one I didn't even try by myself, mostly b/c getting one of those Sun Seals requires you to help Sheva across a ledge leaving her to fend for herself if you can't get a shot with a good rifle.

The button sequences that happen during the gameplay and not the cut scenes are hard b/c if you end up hitting the wrong button your not given a second chance, you just take damage which is usually a one hit kill, and the AI is really slow when it comes to resuscitating you. Not only that but hitting all the face buttons when you know at least one will show work doesn't help sometimes either. It really helps to have the RPG with infinite ammo.

    ****SPOILER ALERT****

I'm kinda sad to report that after trying and trying I just CANNOT beat this game on professional. I just can't get passed the fight with Jill. It's having none of it. Even in online co-op with most weapons having infinite ammo - I just cannot pull the device off her chest - and yes I know you have to shoot it a couple of times first. Grrrrrrr
