God, I missed this thread. It's good to be back!

Can anyone comment on the validity of the "Charlie Sheen Letter" posted a page or two back? It was very interesting.

Also, someone with some extra time on their hands should comb back through this thread and compile a list of all of Edge's mispronounciations of 'Knuckle Duster.' Seriously Edge, there's only so many ways you can do it, and you're clearly not getting a rise out of him, so you should focus on someone else's name around here. I'll gladly donate my own, if it will inspire more creativity than "Knuddle Fubster."

The Sheen letter seems to be a fictional letter jammed packed with factual information regarding the 9/11 investigation.

and I don't know why I continue to screw up his name now. I know its not getting a rise out of him but its kind of a habit now.

It doesn't get a rise out of me because it's not funny, or insulting.

It IS ridiculous that one past the age of 6 would find humor in 'plays on words' ... at least the level of creativity put forth by TheEdge regarding the matter, but live & let live I guess.

On a serious note, I honestly don't think he knows (or knew when he started) what a 'Knuckle Duster' is.

As far as user names go, it's a lot better than "Coolinator" at least

Is a 'knuckle duster' actually a thing? I'm pretty sure it's related to boxing/professional fighting, at the very least.

Unless I am mistaken it is slang for Brass Knuckles, at least around here I have heard them called that.
Yeah that Sheen Letter was a kind of teaser, it did not really happen yet. However Sheen is going to basically in a few days attempt to have a meeting exactly like the fictional letter only for real with the pres. I'm not sure if Sheen wrote the fictional one or not, I kind of suspect he did, it has a little humor to it. Also lets all just chill like Melf said. All the finger pointing back and forth is clogging shit up and never goes anywhere. Ive been reading a lot about old under ground US government facilities lately like the Brier Patch, Mt Weather, Mt Hood, Mt. Pony, and countless others. I recommend reading about them on wikipedia. It isn't conspiracy shit, the US government just had a lot of awesome shit in case we had to throw down during the cold war days. One day I want to go and visit the brier patch, it sounds like a really cool place to visit. The different models of Doomsday planes are also fun read about. Some of the ones that were designed but never implemented are interesting. All of them are "Hardened" in their circuits to be able to shrug off EMP from nukes. I would like to visit the HAARP facility as well, the whole place is open to the public. Reading about the research they do in the ionosphere is very interesting.

It's a common slang expression for a pair of Brass Knuckles.

Usually refered to pair of brass knuckles but also a small firearm used in the 1800s because it dusted your knuckles with burned powder.

Afghan war reaches a tipping point

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) handed down to the Taliban a big political victory as a result of the air strikes in the northern province of Kunduz on Friday, which left over 100 people dead and injured. The Taliban propaganda portrayed the incident as "an intentional massacre".

More innocent civilians dead. This time....under Obama. He has blood on his hands.

US actually increasing personnel in Iraq: More contractors, fewer troops

Well, its soldiers are. But not civilian contractors. Despite President Barack Obama's pledge to withdraw US troops from the war-torn country, the US is planning to award contracts to protect US installations at a cost to taxpayers that could near $1 billion.

    [edit]so not worth it[/edit]
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

In an odd way I'm welcoming the collapse. I don't know why. Maybe I feel that we can wipe the slate clean and start over again.

I still have hope that as the years go by more people will question their reality and understand how this attack and many others before it were used to justify acts of imperialism and theft against humanity.
