I know if I was fully awake I'd be more sensible, but this comment made me BUST out laughing. I love you guys. This thread, is indeed, made of waffles, win, and now assorted junk foods.

I like how everyone is gearing up for a flame war, but no one is actually flaming, lol.

I can spy one fatal flaw in this acheivement, however: these sprites are not subjected to a complicated set of AI, physics, and input calculations, they are simply clusterfucking across the screen in a linear fashion. I don't believe the problem was ever the PPU (or whatever it was called on the SNES), but rather the down syndrome slow processor, which in turn prohibits faster action. Do the same thing with enemy AI for each character, have constant player inputs, a scrolling background, and some sort of physics model and see if you still get 100 sprites with no slowdown or flicker.

Hey 17day, You were going to say what I would say If I were being serious in this thread. Also, I'm assuming the way the SNES'S anatomy is (being with the soundchip and processor), it'd be a bitch to make games with a(n) increasingly fast speed.

BTW, want some pop corn or M&M's?

(Yes these are funtional and In my house, these were picked up from a thrift store that had a Ma & Pa Theatre close by it.)

I always thought Whoppers were overrated. Mike and Ikes were great (and Kosher too!), not to mention vastly underrated. Also partial to those cookie dough bites, but they always make me thirsty for milk, which theaters never carry.
God loves Genesis so much, he put it in his book!

What does the "soundchip" have to do with anything? Hehe - maybe you should just quite altogether with the assumptions and leave speculation to others that are more in the know

I for one hope darkangel continues his work on console dev. It's a rewarding experience in and of itself. I think creating an example of fast full action onscreen with no slowdown is an admirable goal.

Man, if Nintendo could get the same amount of power out of the Wii that Dragon did for the SNES that thing could be pretty decent.

So either you actually believe the SPC is causing slowdown in SNES game (which it is not), made by Dragonboy's own comments who you're siting as a creditable source but are now dismissing his credibility by agreeing with 17days discrediting comments towards Dragonboy, or you were being facetious about the "soundchip" thing but failed miseribly to pull it off as such. So which is it,man?

If you're serious, he made you look stupid so if I were you I would say "Yes, I was infact being facetious". Ah, its great to wake up at 4:30 A.M, and see an epic thread. All we need is 108 Stars to light the fuse to this shitbomb.

I loaded up on milk duds, twinkies and gave myself agonising constipation for this?

Shit man I'm going to bed.
