125$ isnt too bad for a CDX considering that usually sell for more on Ebay. as for my deal of the day I picked up a RAM Cart for the SEGA CD for 1$ at the local thrift store. it works perfectly.

I'm currently collecting Sega CD, so my recent "bargains" are:

    (All complete)

    Tomcat Alley - $1.99
Who Shot Johnny Rock? - $1.99
    Kids On Site - $0.01
    Prize Fighter - $0.50
Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine - $0.75
    Supreme Warrior - $3.99
Mansion of Hidden Souls - $4.99
    Ground Zero Texas - $1.99

Maybe not top notch games, but the prices are about right.

Bargains? None to speak of for me. I've picked up some games for .50 cents to around 2 bucks. I've also spent 20-30 bucks on consoles via ebay when I know if I waited I coulda got one at a thrift for around 10 bucks. I think you have to draw a line at whats a bargain if your saving 5-10 bucks is it really that much? Most times I'd rather just pay the ebay price instead of hunting around for months.

    Thanks.

And yeah, those RAM carts are super expensive. I saw one on eBay once, they wanted like $65 for the cart alone I think. Kind of ridiculous unless you have a ton of Sega-CD games that need saving I guess. Nice find Jesse.

I forgot I picked up a few good PSX titles at thrift stores. I found both Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Einhander at thrifts for $7 each. Thrift finds are few and far between these days, thanks to eBay, so I was pretty stoked by both of these.

If that's the Windows 95 version of Myst good luck... I don't think there's a patch to fix it for newer systems, as the main problem has to do with it's use of an old (and since incompatible) version of quicktime. The DOS version may work though. (obviously with an emulator)

    It's for Win 3.1/Dos. Doesn't work

I'll figure it out sometime. I have some old machines anyway.

25 bucks for a complete in box 32X back when there were very few on eBay and cost more than 75 bucks.

    As well as this:

    -5 bucks for Contra
-A trade-in for Super C(I traded one of my homemade MegaDrive A/V cables)

Buying both locally at almost every shop would cost in excess of 120 bucks, and I don't exactly know their running value on eBay.

Hmm, you are usig a DOS emulator, right? Like DOSBox. (which is open source)

If you run Win XP or earlier you may be able to use something simpler like VDMSound instead, but that only really helps if you can get the program running w/out sound in the first place. (basicly it just for sound emulation as XP and earlier windows versions support Dos executables to some degree, but without sound support)
