Here are some of my favorites in no real order:

Sonic Series (especially 2 and 3 & Knuckles)
Revenge of Shinobi & Shinobi III
Streets of Rage Series (especially 2)
Thunder Force III & IV (TF IV is probably my absolute favorite)
    Rocket Knight Adventures & Sparkster
    TMNT: Hyperstone Heist
    Comix Zone
    Probotector
    Alien Soldier
    Gunstar Heroes
    Dynamite Headdy
    Mega Turrican
    M.U.S.H.A.
    Battle Mania Daiginjou
    Landstalker
Batman (very nice to hear all 10 sound channels at once. it's so rarely done)
Panorama Cotton (my newest entry. lovely lighthearted but with incredible drums and all 10 channels at once)

Some of the games may have only 2 or 3 songs that I really like but those are so good to me, that I have to mention the whole game.

Good point.. I hadn't focused that much on the percussion samples in GFII before, though that's almost certianly due to my frustration with the game itself.
The flicker/drop-out and pseudo-scaling is one thing, but the control ruins it for me. it feels unacceptably stiff and sluggish, and something about it feels off in that I don't want to use inverted Y axis... maybe the narrow range of pitch animation, the slow pitch control, and the lack of crosshairs/aiming corresponding to inverted controls)
Hell, the SMS version of GF1 seems better in some respects (the tunnels are terrible to navigate though), though then it's frustrating as you also can't select inverted control when it feels right. (too bad no Sega CD port... at least the Saturn finally got it)
More frustrating as it's a game I really want to like... I am rather partial to railshooters.

Definitely nice to scan through the sound test though.

NCS had some unnamed bad ass composing for them. I have loved everything they ever made just because of the music. Then I found the gameplay for most of what they made extremely hard to get into, but great once I did!

^Awesome YT channel! Only way to improve it would be to record the tunes from real hardware. Anyway: You got a new subscriber

The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

I thought about it, but I don't have a way to record audio.I might be more inclined to do it when I am done doing the CCAM.

But the SNES version had music in game, and it's much better.

MK1 Music in Genesis stills sucks to me :P i have the original cart and I prefer the SNES version too

Yeah, I think I like many of probes MK tunes better than the arcade ones. (granted much of that YM2151 stuff wasn't great IMO and Midway seemed to do a lot better with the sample based synthesis of the DSC sound system for MKII and III... too bad neither of those got Sega CD ports but MK1 got that sloppy ports with CD-DA recordings of some arcade tracks that were done better on the MD itself...)

There are so many great soundtracks to choose from: the first two Streets of Rage games, Road Rash, Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe...

I love the music in ToeJam & Earl, and the track that plays over the first level in Ghouls 'n Ghosts has always stuck with me as being great (probably because I had to play the game from the beginning so many times due to the nightmarish difficulty - brilliant game, though). DecapAttack has a catchy, fantastic soundtrack as well.
