Video game nerds tend to gravitate to each other in schools. Kind of like how a garage band works, only without the girls swooning over the terrible music.

The best you can do is hope that you're all fat, fragile minded, and develop a sense of humor defense mechanism...Otherwise you'll never get laid in your lifetime.
    Sorry, but it's the truth.

    QUICKLY! Dissolve your group!
I'd love to know where you're getting your logic from. Not to mention, you're calling someone a faggot for liking games on a retro games forum that you yourself go onto at will. Plus, I am getting a headstart into a career about gaming. So, I have reason to be here. Also, how old are you, I'm upfront that I'm very young, but... By the way, I'm not the stereotypical fucking nerd that plays WOW and knows nothing of women, so before you classify and place your insecurities upon other people, do some research, ass. (Also, add to the fact you know nothing about me beyond a few posts I've made. Meet someone before you make quick assumptions.)

Although I can understand you may have been joking and I can laugh this off without holding a grudge. But one day you're going to cross paths with someone whos had a shitty day and It won't end too well. Just food for thought.

Hold a grudge all you want junior.
Your projective wisdom of future encounters with internet "tuffs" who feel the need to vent on me is noted, but I think I'm well equipped to handle it.

However, I think you're drawing your own straws with the "Faggot for liking retro games/Wow nerds are womenless" issues.

You seem to miss the subtlety of the original post which is understandable. I didn't tag it with a /s or anything since I figured most people were intelligent enough to pick up on it after reading it, it's ridiculous. It was an obvious rip on established stereotypes of gamers being social retards years ago. Since after all, the original question was weather or not people socialized with other gamers in school back in the day.

And also, try reading my second post. It's in the same thread after all.
If you honestly can't pick up the sarcasm by that, you're helpless.

    Good luck.

I have never really done that, not being completely up to date in video games until 3 years ago does not help though.

I never really played multiplayer games with a regular group of friends, and those of whom I did play, were my inside family on the Mega Drive. My age does not exactly help this situation though. =P

Thanks for telling me. I was getting the feeling while typing that post that maybe you were joking but I couldn't tell either way because there wasn't enough force to ensure that it was an insult, and there wasn't anything to signal that you were joking. Also, I DO NOT want to hold a grudge. You said something about drawing straws and Wow.

Digressing for a moment. I've never played wow, I kinda don't want to for 2 reasons. 1) I don't care about the source material of that high-fantasy orks and other shit and the whole "add +18 Agility to my whateverthehell sword !!!!". 2) I already have enough things sucking away hours of my life, I don't need another.

During middle and high school (I only played games with my brother and one other kid in elementary before I met more people who liked them) my friends and I would always talk about games at lunch and borrow each other's games. Which is pretty typical, of course. Normally it worked out fine, but there were a couple problems every so often. Like the time when one of my friend's mother decided to sell his SNES games because he was not doing so well in school at the time, some of my borrowed games were in his collection at the time. Then there was the odd period where some of my friends became addicted to Magic: The Gathering and started trading their games to other kids for cards (one of my friends traded his PS1 copy of Valkyrie Profile for Magic cards, that is probably the most extreme example).

For me playing games almost isn't as fun as it once, just because back then we were usually always playing the same games at the same time, or at least playing games lent to us by those of us who had already beaten them. It was fun to talk about games with people I knew for years in a non-hostile/non-internet environment. It was fun to play multi-tap Saturn Bomberman too.

But this topic did make me realize that one guy still has my copy of Contra 3, and I don't know where he lives now.
