If anyone is interested, here's what I thought of the arcade:

Its almost identical to the NES version, the main differences being that its credit based rather than free play (not timed like a Playchoice-10) and the options eliminated slow speed and the "off" music option. The controls had a pretty good feel, the joystick got the job done, the buttons, however, were too far apart to feel comfortable. The A and B buttons were spaced just right so that using an index and middle finger made it feel like performing a "split" with your fingers, whereas an index and ring finger just felt weird. Aside from the too-far-apart A and B buttons, I highly recommend playing a Vs. arcade if you get the chance, its the only way to play these NES games in ultimate glory.
