Yeah, those games had a nice feel to them as the developers often went out of their way to distinguish the title from the others in a graphical sense as gameplay didn't vary too much.
To be honest theres alot on the Game Gear we have yet to sample here. It was never too much of an import machine as it was well supported in the UK by Sega Europe. But there are a few interesting looking titles... Hopefully we'll be able to increase the section with some support as it remains quite humble...!
The Saturn's will be £49.99 and the Mega Drives £59.99 all boxed and with instructions (by the time they have been shipped and cleared customs here in the UK....) Shipping of consoles to N. America is by EMS so its pretty snappy.
Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated. We're really pleased everything went smoothly. Hope you like your selection, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with those choice cuts. Crows is also a cracker if you like a bit of Japanese off beat quirkiness, so thanks for the order.
Nekketsu Oyako should be back on the site in a couple of weeks. If tyou click on Backorder you can enter you're email address so we can email you as soon as an out of stock title becomes available...
If we can help with anything else, please let me know (though a few of the notifications seem to be going a wee bit astray...)
    Thanks!
    Peter.

I received my second order of games yesterday, their all really good. im especially enjoying crude buster. although it is a bit tough considering theres no health bar to show how much life you have left, still getting used to that. your welcome about the feedback, ill be updating the feedback shortly. I pretty much enjoyed all the games, dezaemon 2 was especially entertaining because of being able to customize the shooters. magical hoppers was pretty decent too as was viruta fighter mini for game gear. street fighter zero was also how I remember it in the arcades. im looking forward to playing crows when it arrives, ive been wanting to try that for about a year now. im thinking about ordering a few more saturn games once some of the ones I liked on the site are back in stock. lately ive just been pretty into playing sega saturn. how much would the shipping be to the us for the boxed megadrive your getting in stock?

Great to hear from you and that the games all arrived safely. Yeah - sometimes takes a bit of getting used to the old school mechanics. I think games these days have made me go soft! Dezaemon is a great concept, something you wouldn't really expect on a console so I'm glad you're appreciating it. Thanks again for the feedback as it means alot to us - especially if its taking you away from valuable gaming! Hopefully Crows will be with you soon and you're in for a real treat...
Not exactly sure on the shipping weight of a Mega Drive but it'll be around the same as an N64 I'd imagine which is £23.50 via EMS courier to the States.

All those games mentioned have arrived now and Bari Arm is there...
Anything else you know where we are!
    Thanks now.
    Peter.

I received crows in the mail yesterday. what a great game, I really enjoyed it and think it deserved a sequel. but also crude buster deserved a sequel as well back then. I thought some of the parts of the game were pretty funny, like being able to beat up drunks, cops, or even punch a civilian or two from the background, that itself makes crows pretty entertaining. I think its in the second level in the park part, theres a guy and his girl sitting on benches and if you punch the guy then they both run away, did you notice that part? it was pretty funny. theres not enough games around like that. the style of it reminds me alot of the nes game "river city ransom". thanks for letting me know about bari arm being back instock, ill be ordering it very soon. do you know if nekketsu oyako will be back in stock in the next few weeks?

Really pleased you like Crows. I agree we need more games like that which don't take themselves too seriously. There's Ane san on the PC Engine that's in a similar mode and River City Ransom was from the series of games starring Kunio.

    http://www.genkivideogames.com/Searc...wordtext=kunio

He's really big still in Japan and most of the games command quite a premium. Not sure there was much of his stuff released post 16 Bit though, but there's some good info on the Hardcore Gaming site linked through our site.
(Not quite up to Sega 16 standards of course though...)
Nekketsu Oyako is due with us by Friday all being well. Will drop you a mail as soon as it arrives using the backorder function.
Thanks for the order and happy gaming!

    Greetings, Long time no see.
Just thought I’d post a sneak preview of the latest additions to the site: Densha De GO! 2 for the N64 adds another facet to this supreme series with a microphone - just don't let the neighbours see you playing it. Bubble Bobble DS and Super Mario 64 DS demonstrate the power of the little handheld known as the DS. The PSX starts throwing its weight around with King of Fighters, Bushido Blade 2 delivers the cold edge of steel and the saucy Advanced VG 2 gets fruity. Not half as tasty as the morsels on offer in the bizarre Manpuku Nabe Kazoku of the gourmet genre with plenty of bargains to be had on the Saturn. The PS2 gets all nostalgic with a cracking conversion of whip wielding, arcade antics in Akumajo Dracula. A delightful treat for PSP owners in the form of Ooedo Senryobako packed full of Eastern promise. Recent highlights also include close encounters of the crustacean kind in Darius R on the GBA, the ultra rare anime antics of Silky Lip on the Mega CD, mighty fine old school fun on the Mega Drive with Mickey Mouse, Strider and Golden Axe II. Cool Cool Jam on the Neo Geo Pocket Color puts the rhythm back in your stride with the Dreamcast Link Cable available too.. The SFC shows its strength in depth with Sumo, shmups and the eternal Super Mario Kart. This month also sees a wealth of restocks on the DC & Mega Drive. Plus some fine pieces of hardware too: the eternal Super Famicom with a plethora of import only classics, the Neo Geo AES - a Rolls Royce amongst consoles and the PSone - a great way to discover import gaming with many titles often far cheaper than the Saturn. Finally the Pia Carrot series gets immortalised in these stunning Kotobukiya styled figurines. More to come soon...
Thanks to your feedback a new advanced search engine has been added to the site hopefully making it a bit easier to find that rare retro release. The Hardware Section has been divided up into manufactures too. Any comments always appreciated…

Greetings. Just a wee update for those with an eye for an import bargain on what’s new on the site. Getting things moving with the marvellous technical achievement of Wolfenstein 3D on the Super Famicom along with the extreme visual and aural delight of Actraiser. Retina ruining shmup action dominates the PS2 scene with three instalments of the delightful Psyvariar series not giving you time to blink. The PC Engine quietly gets on with its processing prowess proving you can’t judge a console by its modest white cover: Gradius II and Super Raiden for the grizzled shooter vet, Adventure Island and Takeda Shingen for the action old hand. More undiscovered gems on the PSX proving it can rival even the Saturn for classic capers if you look in the right places in the wonderous and wacky Cooking Fighter Hao. Coin – op high jinx abound in the slick Sega converion of Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast. The eternally youthful Sega Saturn continues to delight with a deluge of classic 2D titles both Ram Cart fortified fight fests and old school shmups with solid mechanics. Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro is a peach of a discovery in its post – apocalyptic Mega Drive world with the friendlier faces of Sparkster and Dynamite Heddy giving a more light hearted diversion. Not forgetting our top boffins have also been hard at work on a new advanced search engine making it a bit easier to find that rare, retro release. Thanks again for all the support – you’re opinions are invaluable to us. Enjoy…

    Greetings!
At last the Animal Crossing Figures are back in stock. Apologies for the delays - Bandai and Tomy's merger has meant they are no longer in production and hard to find. Other new additions to the site include King of Fighters bashing a few skulls together on the DC in the legendary SNK/Playmore style plus GigaWing 2 and Shikigami no Shiro II Limited Edition. Master Karateka on the GameBoy is a lesson in old school design mechanics with some fluid animation and rock hard challenge. Virtua Fighter Mini and Ristar look sublime on the Game Gear screen whilst Valis III on the Mega Drive is packed with nostalgia of the golden 16Bit era of gaming. Plus its always nice to welcome Panorama Cotton back in. Viewtiful Joe shows what a cracking character he is with some sterlingly heroic performances on the DS, PS2 and GameCube. The ever popular DC/NGPC Link Up Cable is back in while stocks last. The Sumo and Samurai Spirits IV leave no time to heal blistered thumbs with their nimble fingered joypad manoeuvres and good old fashioned button bashing gameplay on the PSX. Geppy X, Sexy Paraodius and Panzer Bandit prove what real gamer titles are out there on the Playstation if you look hard enough. Shooting Love Trizeal, Gitaroo Man Wan, Shikigami no Shiro II Limited Edition and Vib Ripple prove the PS2 has a hardcore interior if you get past the mass market exterior with these delightful works of programming prowess. The DC X helps Dreamcast owners enjoy a wealth of import exclusives whilst the Virtua Cop Gun Controller Pack is back on the Saturn complete with jet black gun to match the jet black Reservoir Dogs style suits. Always good to have Princess Crown, Sengoku Blade and Dungeons & Dragons in too of course. Coryoon, Sylphia and 1941 see that PC Engine fans don’t go shmup hungry. Segata Sanshiro gets his fine tracks in the Soundtracks section and proves impossible not to sing along with his crooning.
Finally we are proud to add a Customer Requests facility to our menu allowing you to request titles not currently on the site.
We look forward to more of your favourite import suggestions, thanks for your support and happy gaming.
    Peter.
