    Default Adhesive Question

I got a SCD model 1 in the mail and it has some broken pieces in the Cd drive. Specifically, there are some plastic pieces that are molded onto the steel plate for the mechanism that lifts the cd drive when the tray closes.

I know what i have to do, but the adhesive I've tried to glue the plastic pieces to the steel plate (they are actually sandwich molded onto the plate and pass through holes in it and that's where they're broken) haven't worked.

Any suggestions as to which one to try next? I've tried Krazy Glue. My thoughts are a 2-stage epoxy next.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Before going to epoxy (probably to be aviouded with electronics), try something like plasic cement, or model glue, something that will bond well with plastic. (dissolving it sligtly) Otherwise use some kind of multipurpose "houshold" cement meant to bund dissimilar surfaces like plastic to metal.
