The entire grading industry has gotten rediculous. I collect GI Joes, so I run into a lot of Star Wars collectors. I can't tell you the amount of people that have sent in repackaged figures on fake cards that they made themselves that have been graded perfect by some services.

Also, when it comes to comics, most of the new ones that are graded gem mint are sent in by places like Wizard (who creates the price guide), then sells them based on the prices that they create. How do they get these perfect copies? By being assbuddies to Joe Quesada (Marvel's EIC) and Brian Bendis (Marvel's top writer and Quesada's best friend). They split the profits with them. (I know that sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it really does happen). They did the same thing with Image books when they first came out (except the grading aspect), they got millions of copies of the #1's and priced them extremely high so they could sell their copies at shows.

How can PDS not be rare at all? I mean well Japanese copies are common as hell but US and Pal copies tend to fetch a few hundred dollars with ease.

No, there are some really sought after games like Chrono and Super Mario RPG. They are expensive, but not rare, they are everywhere.
And for example games like Defenders of Oasis. Damn good game, CIB copy is pretty rare to find at all. And i own a factory sealed copy which i bought for 5$, cause noone really cared for some reason..

And yet the most common game gets "OMG L@@K RARE!" on eBay. I've seen Sonic 1 get a "RARE" in the sales pitch more than once. That's why I said not on eBay they aren't, because somehow everything is rare on that site. It could be a copy of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, have a BIN price of $0.99, and some idiot would still put a "RARE" in the auction title

There was a better one I saw a while ago for $500 with $100 for shipping, because you know how huge and heavy a package a ram cart is.

Biggest lulz i had was that time i found an auction of someone selling Double Dragon II for nes,
100 euro's cause it was a RARE GAME!!

or that guy that was selling Sonic 1 and said it was rare, but if you checked his ebay store you saw he was selling 5 more.
