Well despite the shitty 100 degree plus days

The stupid Snowbirds go away.
The stupid spoiled college kids go away.
Monsoons are sorta neat.

I remember the summer rains being pretty plentiful when I lived in Phoenix.

But New Mexico got more rain than that.

1. No school, I'll probably be getting a pretty cool job too this time around. Also I'm graduating this year so I don't have to go back.
2. Everyone seems to be trading in their oldschool games at my local game store in the summer
3. Time with my extended family.



But the things I don't like:

1. Not being able to go outside during the day due to the fact that I am allergic to everything that breathes.
2. Having no air conditioner. Yes I live in Canada, but where I live it can still get pretty damned hot.
3. I live an hours walk away from any civilization so I can't go out and get gelato (itialian ice cream) when I feel like I'going to explode from all the heat.

I love about summer:
1. Cold beer's around camp fires in the woods, with a ton of people who all know each other, underager's permitted as long as they're 'cool.'

2. The army of barely legal, scantly clad 'finger puppets' that roam the streets all day.

3. All the folks taking their pride & joy car projects out for endless driving around or stopping at 'tim hortons' to shoot the shit in a parking lot while having a coffee.
