I'd laugh if Rusty was one of them....though that would be hot (if Rusty were a chick that is).

I'm a teenager.
Seems i'm one of the few old-timer gamers at 41 y.o.
I don't know if that's good or bad but I love this stuff.
Besides, friends of my parents collect vintage dolls, especially Barbie's, and they have a whole room dedicated to it - so I don't feel the least guilty of playing classic video games - NO SIREE BOB!!!

you are not alone
im not suprised at the poll results so far.
concidering when these consoles were released and our ages at the time of release... youd expect the max age at that time to be maybe 25(?). so na, there aint gonna be many if any 50yo here. 30-40yo were the original buyers, 20-30yo may have been late adoptors or had an older sibling. the younger kids are just smart enough to prefer good gaming.

I'm the same age as you. I turned 41 in January and it's sort of depressing, knowing that my gaming skills are going to go down hill pretty soon.
I grew up in a small town, so before I knew of videogames, it was Pinball and shooting gallery games at the local bowling alley. We had a pong game in our house, that ran on C batteries; those didn't last long.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
I am a teenager (Birth year is the same year Sonic came out)
26. An old geezer.
Just turned 23. The Genesis was the first system that we owned, I must have been 6 years old when we got the Model 2 plus Sonic 2 for Christmas. Been a SEGA fan ever since.
I am 32, but my birthday is at the end of the year.
I'm 30. I remember when my friends and I thought 26 was OLD. About 3 years ago a buddy of mine started a Complete NES collection and I thought "Man, that's cool." I bought a few games for every system and started to realize that my faves were almost all on some Sega system. I now have 300 Genny games 75 SegaCD games 237 Saturn games and 50 Dreamcast games.
I love Sega!
