Of course it would be perfect, it's Sega! Duh!

    Kidding, of course.

    Ah yes, I stand corrected.

I would have liked to see a better contribution from the FPS/shooters scene on 32x, it was certainly capable of playing them. Wolfenstein 3D, Virtua Cop, (if it had made it to 1996) an attempt at a Quake port. I would have been happier if they had done a better job on Doom though; I would have like to see a port of the Ultimate Doom (all 4 episodes) w/ better graphics, more enemies, the monsters actually move around and not just look directly ahead, BFG's (duhhh!), and possibly a 2-player co-op mode.
Up on the shelf; it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Sega Genesis! Faster processing than a SNES, more powerful than a TG-16, able to play 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit and CD-ROM games on a single system (with the CD, 32x and power base converter, of course)

See Sam & Max was great! =)

Know what would have been awesome on Sega CD?

    LOOM

But 32x.......uhh how about a sonic game? I cant play Knuckles Chaotix. Call me crazy, but unless I am playing as Sonic, it just feels weird. Its not as fun for me.

Nah, not in 3D. Run 'n' guns must be played in 2D IMHO.

I really really wanted Outrunners on 32X. I bought a 32x in hopes really, but evetually sold it in favor of a PSX. I loved the arcade game and the 32x cauld have done a beauty to the conversion. 10 years later i am still stuck with the lousy genesis port.

A version of OutRun on the 32X would of been nice. Although there was a conversion on the MegaDrive it wasn't so great with its lack of engine sound and toned down graphics. While the MegaDrive version of OutRun was a good game in itself, as a conversion I don't think it was a great deal faithful to the original.

The 32X hardware would of allowed OutRun to be a lot more closer to the arcade original I think, just like Space Harrier on the 32X.

Out Run was already on Master System, Turbografx, Genesis, several computers, and an "arcade perfect" version came out for Saturn. What do we need an extra version for?

At the time though, there wasn't this many versions, there wasn't the accurate Saturn version either. So that's why I would of liked to have seen a port of OutRun on this system at that point in time. It would of been great to see OutRun on there as Space Harrier usses the same game engine as OutRun and that was very close to the arcade original on the 32X.

Sure, there probably would of still been a few sacrifices on a 32X OutRun, but it would of been a hell of a lot closer to the arcade original than the half decent MegaDrive version.

And in both of those cases, I would say that the 32x version is completely superfluous. It's neither a classic port nor a perfect port, so what's the point?
