    this is tans friend rob. Tan is in the hospital getting his appendix out he went yesterday and should be out within a week. He says to go ahead with the podcast until he gets better. ,..rob

    I remember when I had mine out - spent 3 days in the hospital, then had to go back a week later to have the stitches removed. All told, I got MAYBE two weeks off from gym class.

    I've never had my appendix taken out, but there is one thing I do know, the appendix sucks, end of story.

    WHy don't they just take the freakin' thing out at birth? The only thing I've seen it do is explode and cause pain.

    My guess is that baby's are very hard to operate on, mainly because they're so small.

    Because most people don't ever need it taken out so taking it out is unnecessary. Good luck Tanegashima, I think the podcast is gonna have to wait.
